Winners and Final Notes

Aw this contest is officially over, but I did love reading all of your submissions! Some were cute, some were hilarious, some I actually took notes from and will try out in my own writing from now on. I hope you all had fun, I know I did.

Milk Money: Bakugou x Male Reader
Book: My Heros x Reader
It's so hard to find Bakugou x Readers where Bakugou isnt possessive, bipolar, or had a forced loving nature. Bakugou was explosive yes, and he had the right amount of care and love to offset his repulsive other side which captured his personality perfectly which isnt easy since hes such an inner kept and difficult character. (More of a reason why I love Bakugou). On top of this, your plot wasn't the most original but the setting with a hospital and life support you threw Bakugou into felt almost inappropriate (I mean Bakugou is the least selfless and caring person out there) yet you made it work perfectly and it was unexpected.
Of course I have a few critiques, your descriptions lacked and Midoriya and Uraraka's interactions felt unfinished. Each interaction was like a few words then done cause clearly they pulled a lot of the strings behind the scenes. It wouldn't hurt if they talked just a little bit longer or had more descriptive interactions.

Overall,  bravo I loved this piece.

2nd Place

Killer x Reader
You had alot of minor errors such as mixing up Wire and Wired but besides this you did great. I was entertained from beginning to end. You had great imagery, dialogue was funny. My only critique besides your minor errors is that you could work on lengthening your paragraphs more, especially around the smut area, it was then and done. I'm really taking a liking to your writing style and keep up the great work.

Safe & Sound: Doflamingo Oneshot
For your first ever oneshot, this was impressive. You had very minor mistakes, you captured Doflamingo's more sweeter side compared to the sinister we all know. I just sort of wish you would've more greatly went into what Sancho and Doflamingo's relationship really was. Was it friends with benefits, was it a bf gf relationship, were they cousins? Reason why I ask is because royals tend to reproduce with their own relatives (Yeah, incest. This is why all the Celestial Dragons look so ugly and disformed) and all. Their relationship was increasingly difficult to understand and hope you put more context into your future works.

You may find your prizes at the bottom of the final notes! DM me to claim your prize!

Final Notes: My notes are my likes, dislikes, and constructive advice for you to help you fix and realize where you could've done better to become a better writer. Constructive criticism is what shaped me into the writer I am today. If I upset you, let me know.

Tetsutetsu x Gender Neutral Reader
You had much humor, you used my OC in which is always a nice touch. Your characters were on point, meaning your characterization of in anime characters were perfect. I've always loved how you capture personality. However I think you should've took the focus away from dialogue, show not tell, cause there was little physical interactions and it was 90% dialogue. With this being said, your piece came off a little boring cause it was dialogue, dialogue, dialogue. And you should've just embraced a specific gender within this oneshot cause the reader came off as a really feminine boy or a slightly tomboyish girl. Overall, I feel you should work with adjectives more and build a scene instead of building dialogue.

H20-Bakugou Oneshot
This was a very cute oneshot with the reader, a very original idea with Bakugou and the reader being childhood friends who drifted apart over the years being reunited in school and all. I love the reader and Bakugou's relationship, they're cute, agressive, and hilarious. However, you have big problems keeping with one point of view. The story started out in 2nd person point of view (reader's pov), then it suddenly became 3rd person pov (nobody/bystander pov) then finished in first person point of view (use of I and looks into one particular person's thoughts). You gotta be careful, unless you specify otherwise like a view change, stick to one point of view. This is my only critique, besides POV, which made your piece very confusing at times, you have writing under control.

Hope you all enjoyed this contest, I particularly loved your submissions this time around because they were so creative and funny. Too bad it was only One Piece and My Hero Academia themed, I was hoping for a Kingdom Hearts or Nanbaka submission. Either way. I have no clue when I'll hold another contest but I do hope you all are part of it.
