I walked downstairs it was my 11th birthday we had a small gathering of family had a gathering last night. I thought I had gotten all my presents last night. It was a little wired I got a tent and other camping supplies so the surprise is we're going camping or my family is just wired the second one is entirely possible. I walked into the kitchen mom held something behind her back. "You said you had a surprise for me"I said curiously my mom pulled a shinny eevee out from behind her back "You know how your father came back from his journey for your birthday dinner but had to leave after well he left this"she started pulling out a trainer license and pokeball. I smiled my eyes welling tears of joy. I took the pokeball and touched the eevee with it the ball rocked the light flashing and I caught it. "Your going on a journey my daughter"she said and threw her arms around me. I hugged back "how did you pull off finding me a shinny female eevee"I said "it took your father a long time but he said nothing was to good for his baby"she exclaimed I said tears of joys still flowing like a river. She realsed eevee. "What do I call you"she said petting the eevee. "Vee" it shrieked "I'll call you shimmer due to your shimmering grey coat"I said in between sobs of joy
