Why was everything green? The trees, nature, the butterflies and bugs? I sighed and looked at the grey-green world before me. I knew no one with the same green eyes as the color I looked at. I groaned and slapped my face.

"Knock out of it, will you?" Madison growled, "You're going to find your soulmate, don't worry. Now, please, if you may, I'm trying to play a game!"

"Easy for you to say, you already found your soulmate Miss 'Oh My Soulmate Is Like Justin Fucking Bieber,'" I retorted back. I got up from the sofa I was on and slipped on my shoes.

"I'm heading out, good luck."

(Timeskip)

I was sitting in a cafe, reading a book and sipping on my hot tea. I was almost done and didn't look where I was going when I got up.

"W-Woah!" I yelped as I crashed into someone. They caught me mid-fall.

"I-I'm so sorry, are you okay?" they asked, looking at my face.

"Y-Yeah... I-It was m-my fault anyways..." I mumbled, giving a crooked side-smile. I looked up at their eyes. Green. Green like the plantation that grew in my backyard. Green like the praying mantises that hopped on the brick fences. Just... beautiful green. I noticed he had stopped breathing as well. I steadied myself and I swore I saw the smallest bit of another color in the corner of my eye. That color soon faded into the real world. We both looked around at the brightly colored cafe, marveling at all of its excellence.

"Look, the two lovebirds found their soulmates!" someone cheered. The whole cafe erupted into loud cheer and applause for us, the newly destined couple.

"Hey, isn't that the chairman's youngest son?" someone asked. People stopped clapping and started to whisper.

"I can't believe it, she's so lucky."

"Ugh, I envy her." I smiled at my new-found partner. I held out my hand.

"My name is (Y/N)."
