General

-This is meant to be a spin off of Faith the Eevee, one of my favourite stories to date.

Names of characters

-Zeka's name was chosen in a naming contest where it was the first and only entry in the contest.

-Deca's name was also chosen in a naming contest.

-Beca's name is a name I made up.

-Claridel is a name I made up.

-Marc is a name I made up.

-Sofia is a name I made up.

-Shady is a name I made up.

-Splashes is a name I made up.

-Flame is a name I made up.

-Bolt is a name I made up.

-Frosty is a name I made up.

-Ruslan is a name I chose from a list of names. Ruslan is a Russian name.

-Hermann is a name I chose from a list of names. Hermann is a formerly popular German name.

-Eve references Eve from my ask or dare book.

-Dawn is a reference to Dawn from Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.

-Characters such as Faith, Weston, and Darklight are characters from Faith the Eevee.

     -I was given rights to use these characters in this book.

-The border guards are references to the fact that if you cross a border without a passport, you are violating immigration and customs law and may be arrested. It is not referencing the North Korean border guards, which will only try to kill anyone trying to defect from the country.

Setting

-Every country mentioned in this book is based off their real life counterpart.

     -I picked France as her final destination because the two fictional towns I will mention later are located in Kalos and Kalos is based off of France.

-Almost every town mentioned in this book is based off their real life counterpart.

     -The exceptions are Eeveeville and Poketown, two fictional towns that Pikagirl1527 use in most of her stories.

          -I was given rights to use these towns as settings in this book.

-The death camps set up by the Dark One's Army in Chapter 10 reference the North Korean prison camps, where the prisoners are forced to work for long hours and are given very little food to eat for their meal. Most did not survive to tell their tale, but the few that did suffered from serious injury or sickness, that later lead to death.

Objects

-The money that Zeka uses references the United States Dollar, the most commonly traded currency.

-The food from the China crossing until the end is native food.

     -The food before this point is common American food.

Quotes

-The story that Claridel tells to her students is a reference to a similar story in the prologue of Faith the Eevee, but instead of a hurricane that they are stopping, it was an avalanche that they are stopping.

-The story that Ruslan told to Zeka is a reference to the 2013 Chelyabinsk meteor, where a 20 meter wide asteroid airbursted and shattered windows hundreds of kilometers away.

Notes

-The story made up by Pikagirl1527 was way off, however, I like the alternate post-ending in Faith the Eevee 2.
