A small tapping sound came from Madam Red moving her Queen on the chessboard. The butlers were preparing some refreshments while Madam Red and Ciel played a game of chess. "Is this really the time for a game of chess?" Asked Ciel, carefully thinking on where to make his next move on the chessboard.
"Obsessing about the case wont help you solve it. Couldn't you have Sebastian do it all, dear?" Questioned Madam Red as she watched Ciel make his move.
"Sebastian is simply just my chess piece. I am the one who moves him and by giving orders but he's no ordinary piece. He can move as many squares as he needs to, like that," told Ciel as he moved his knight to knock over Madam Red's King.
"That was against the rules you know," huffed Madam Red as she stood up her fallen king piece. "Ciel-"
"It would be if this was a game but rules like that have no meaning in the real world. There are always knights who break the rules and pawns who betray. Never let your guard down. Checkmate," told Ciel as he motioned for Sebastian to take away the chessboard, so he could finish his chat with Madam Red.
"When you returned, why did you become the Queens guard dog? For revenge?" Asked Madam Red, she already knew the answer but she wanted to hear Ciels answer.
"The need for revenge wont bring back the dead. Nor bring them happiness," answered Ciel with a blank look. "To answer you question, I didn't do it for them. I did it for myself. I want to find the people that did it and suffer like I did."
"I see," hummed Madam Red, pausing for a moment and then continuing the conversation. "I still remember when you were born. You were so tiny and fragile like Arthur, I swore to protect you. You see I cant have anymore children and you remind me of a second son, so I wish you would quit this."
"This is a task that I have chosen for myself and no one else's. I don't regret my decision," said Ciel, glaring at the cup of tea on the table.
As the conversation was dried up, Madam Red decided it was time to leave. "I suppose its time to leave, I'll tell Arthur you said hello, Ciel," told Madam Red as Ciel motioned for Sebastian to lead her to the door. "Promise me Sebastian that you'll protect him."
"Fear not, I will protect him my Lady," said Sebastian with a promising smile. He opened the door, allowing for Madam Red to go outside, and met with Grell, who was holding an umbrella.
"I'm here to escort you my Lady," told Grell with a smile, pulling the umbrella over Madam Red's head.

Ciel rubbed his head as he laid in his bed thinking about who could possibly be Jack the Ripper. Sighing to himself, he used one of his hands to comb through his dark blue hair. He was getting nowhere.
His eyes turned to the door as Sebastian walk into his bedroom with a list of suspects. "No normal human could have do this," muttered Ciel, his eyes snapping to Sebastian's red ones. "Sebastian, you did it.''
"Of course I didn't my Lord, I told you I never lie. Now the only possible suspect is the Viscount, however..." trailed on Sebastian, amused that Ciel thought that he did it.
"You know more than you letting on," said Ciel.
"Master, I'm simple one hell of a butler. You know well that I only carry out orders that my master has directly given me," told Sebastian. "You only need to say the words then I can either become your Pawn or Knight. Now master move me to check."

In the dirty streets of London, Ciel was dressed as a paper boy, leaning on a street building. "This is the only way in and out so there is no way that he can get passed us," said Ciel.
"Yes," hummed Sebastian as he watched a black cat walking near him. And as a lover of all things cat, Sebastian couldn't resist trying to pet it.
"Now that I think about it the prostitutes have more in common, besides their profession," said Ciel as he ranted on about Jack the Ripper.
"The most beautiful glossy black hair," muttered Sebastian as he stroked the black cats fur.
"I still don't know why he had to kill them all," said Ciel.
"The most majestic creature... so soft with its beautiful fur," gushed Sebastian, continuing to pet the black cat. Ciel frowned, looking down at Sebastian and the cat.
"Sebastian are you even listening to me!" Shouted Ciel. "Honestly."
"I apologise sir but she's so beautiful," said Sebastian, refraining from petting the cat again.

Splashes of red lipstick fell from a brush that Grell was holding in his hand. With a sadistic smile, Grell mixed the lipstick, then shifting his hand near the prostitutes lips. "Tilt you head," told Grell.
The prostitute looked at Grell with fear full crying eyes, she forced herself to tilt her head for Grell. "Good girl," hummed Grell as he painted the prostitutes lips. The prostitute whimpered, causing Grell to mess up the prostitutes lips. "Tch."
Madam Red glanced at her medical equipment, looking for her scalpel. She found the scalpel amongst her equipment, picking the scalpel up, Madam Red stared at the prostitute with cold, emotionless eyes. "My favourite Red Queen, I believe its time," hummed Grell, annoyed at the messed up make up.
Madam Red didn't even wait a second before she plunged the scalpel into the prostitute. "Ah!" Screamed the prostitute in agony, Madam Red continued to cut into the prostitute until she was dead.
Hearing the sound of footsteps approaching, Grell smirked. 'Seems things are about to get interesting," thought Grell. Preparing for the intruders arrival.

The old wooden door widely opened as Ciel cam rushing in, only to be stopped by Sebastian who covered the young Lords eyes, protecting him for the gruesome scene in front of him.
Playing the innocent bystander, Grell ran outside the door. "I-I tried to save her but I was to late," spluttered Grell, blood running down his face.
"You've made quite a mesh in there Jack the Ripper or should I say Grell Sutcliff," said Sebastian, lowering his hands away from Ciels eyes.
"No, I rushed into help her...." trailed Grell, Sebastian didn't believe him for one minute.
"You can drop the act now Grell, its over," told Sebastian, watching Grell with interest. "You know this is the first time I have meet someone like you in the human world."
"Is that so?" Hummed Grell, letting go of his idiot persona.
"You play the role of helpless butler well and your act had almost everyone completely fooled," said Sebastian.
"How kind, coming from someone like you," laughed Grell, eyes filled with amusement. Pulling out the bow in his hair, Grell used his other hand to pull out a comb, brushing it through his brown hair, turning it back to its original colour.
For the final touch, Grell replaced his black glasses with his favourite red pair. "I think its time that I reintroduce myself, demon. I am the Butler of Madam Red. But I never thought that I would see a demon play the role of a butler," said Grell with a smirk.
"I could say the same thing to you, grim reaper. Why would a divine being such as yourself play the role of a butler?" Asked Sebastian.
"Why indeed?" Hummed Grell, tilting his head to the side in an innocent manner. "Lets just say it was out of love for a certain woman," answered Grell, eyes flickering to the doors enterance.
"That woman would be?" Questioned Ciel out of his daze. Grell was there, he was there at that place. Was he involved?
"You really don't need to ask," replied Madam Red for Grell, she walked through the door, out into the open. Ciels eyes slightly narrowed at her.
"Madam Red," said Ciel.
"I didn't count on this," told Madam Red with a frown. It was a shame that her nephew had to find out.
"Naturally you were on the suspect list from the very beginning but all of your alibi's seemed flawless," said Ciel.
"You mean you suspected your aunt," told Madam Red in an almost hurt tone. Did her nephew suspect her from the start? Then again he was the guard dog.
"I was looking for a murder, relation didn't matter. I knew that there had to be an inhuman accomplice since no human could do this by themselves," answered Ciel. Grell tuned out this horribly humane conversation about family and betrayal.
"My darling nephew, now you've taken everything!" Exclaimed Madam Red as she readied herself to take care of Ciel. 'I suppose its time to maim Bassy,' thought Grell.
Grell smirked as he started the chainsaw in his hand. At an unhuman speed, Grell charged straight for Sebastian, who caught the chainsaw between his hands. "Lets dance boys!" Chuckled Grell with a maniac grin.
*****
"What is that?" Asked Ciel, shocked at the sudden appearance of the chainsaw in Grell's hand.
"That, my Lord is a death scythe," explained Sebastian as he continued to dodge Grell's attempts to slice and dice him.
"He is correct," confirmed Grell, who was half-assing his fight against Sebastian. If he wanted to kill the demon, he could of done it ages ago.
"Enough talk, in the name of the Phantomhive family and the Queens I order you Sebastian to put an end to them," commanded Ciel, his contract glowing in the night.
"Indeed my Lord," replied Sebastian. with his red demon eyes glowing. The shinigami and demon continued to fight and exchange blows with each other.
A smile graced on Grells lips as he backed Sebastian into a wall. "You seem to be a demon who likes to be in control, what would happen if..." mused Grell.
"How could you do this Madam Red!?" Exclaimed Ciel as he was trying to get away from the murderous woman.
"You wont understand!" Shouted Madam Red as she aimed her scalpel at Ciel. Sebastian who was pinned to the wall by Grell, decided to sacrifice his arm so to save Ciel from Madam Red.
Seeing the demon behind Madam Red, Ciel shivered. "Sebastian, don't kill her," told Ciel, stopping Sebastian. Madam Red fell to her knees.
"I can't do it," cried Madam Red as she broke down into tears. Sighing to himself, Grell ran a hand through his red hair. 'Of course she couldn't do it... but what will the guard dog do?' Thought Grell.
"If you die Madam Red, you will be leaving him an orphan and motherless. He would be all alone in the world," said Grell, knowing that his words would hit Ciel.
"If you quit being Jack the Ripper, I'll allow you to live," said Ciel.
"Hm, she'll give you her answer soon,'' said Grell as he lifted Madam Red in a bridal style. Madam Red gripped Grell's shoulders tightly, keeping herself in place and not falling out of his arms. "Until next time."
Grell and Madam Red ran away from the demon and Ciel. He could sense William nearby, so once he dropped Madam Red back, Grell might meet up with William.
"Sebastian, it was him," told Ciel, gritting his teeth at the thought of Grell being at that place.
"Yes, it was the same man from years ago," comment Sebastian, recognising Grell. "I wonder..."

Meanwhile a certain silver haired undertaker was sitting on top of one of the buildings. Taking a bit from his biscuit, Undertaker threw the rest away. He had just 'stumbled' on Grell and Sebastian fight. Giving on final look towards Sebastian, Undertaker left, to get back to his work.
