The moon shone brightly as the bitter wind blew through night time London. "After him!" Shouted a man to the other men that was following him. They had been chasing the man in front of them through the streets of London.

The man stopped at the edge of the bridge, looking below at the River Thames. "This is my ring, now," giggled the man, watching as the ring was lit up by the moon.

"No, I don't think so," told a man that was hidden in the shadows. "You don't deserve that ring," continued the man, walking closer to the other man that held the ring.

"What?" Exclaimed the man, holding the ring. Who was this man telling him that he didn't deserve the ring?

"The hope piece is in search of a worthy master and you don't fit that description," said the orange haired man. His hand shifted, controlling the strings that were attached to them, and forcing the other man to leap of the bridge into the River Thames.

"Help!" Screamed the falling man as he fell into the icy depths of the River Thames. The orange haired man, walked away from the scene as the other men rushed towards the edge of the bridge.

The next day Ciel and Sebastian journeyed to the stalls that were located on top of the frozen River Thames. They were strolling among the stalls. "10 percent off when you buy 2 or more!" Exclaimed a stall owner, trying to get more customers.

"Ladies and Gentleman gather around," told the fair owner. "The Frost Fair hasn't hasn't happened in almost 80 years."

"Impressive, young Master," commented Sebastian, giving a smile and glancing down at Ciel.

"I suppose, it hasn't been held for many decades until now," informed Ciel, taking in more of the festival. Meanwhile. Elizabeth was also at the fair, with her caretaker Paula. They were looking for a birthday gift for Ciel.

"We really shouldn't be here, my Lady. Your parents are most likely going to be upset," told Paula, walking besides Elizabeth as they looked through the stalls.

"But the others shops had nothing," whined Elizabeth. She wanted to get something special for Ciel. "And besides they won't mind," add Elizabeth, thinking about her parents.

"I noticed that you've been looking for something specific," said Paula.

"Yes, I'm looking for a gift for Ciel's birthday and I can't find anything!" complained Elizabeth.  "I need to find the perfect present, it must be perfect."

"That's adorable, I pledge that I will help in anyway that I can," cooed Paula, looking at her young charge.

"Thank you Paula," said Elizabeth.

"I've got deals that would blow even Jack Frost away!" Shouted a salesman, behind him was a wooden Noah's ark. This gained the interest of Ciel and Sebastian.

"Those goods are not that great when compared to Phantomhive's. Look at the ark it's clearly a fake," told Ciel, pointing out the forgery.

"Is that..." spoke a Scotland Yard inspector, standing near the Phantomhive pair.

"Well, if it isn't a Scotland Yard inspector that has time to spend at the fair. London must be very peaceful," said Ciel with a frown, raising an eyebrow and daring the the inspector.

"It's not, I'm on duty right now," explained the Scotland Yard inspector.

"Oh. well I'll leave you be," replied Ciel as he started to walk away from the inspector with Sebastian.

"What come back, I have some questions I want to ask you!" Exclaimed the inspector, trying to reach for Ciel, only for Sebastian to slap his hand away.

"Fine. let us go and have some tea," told Ciel.

*****

Ciel and the inspector sat down in a Chinese style cafe, each person enjoying the warmth that the cafe provided. "What is a Scotland Yard inspector doing here?" Asked Ciel as Sebastian passed his a cup of steaming hot tea.

"Murder. A man's corpse was found trapped in the ice this morning. We learned that he was apart of a certain criminal organization. And I'm here to hunt down his killer and recover a blue diamond ring that is worth 2 thousand pounds," explained the inspector.

"The diamond, the ultimate symbol of radiance, bewitching anyone that comes across it," said Lau, appearing with Ran-Mao by his side.

"Impossible, how do you know about the Hope piece?" Questioned the inspector, wondering how the private information was leaked.

"I didn't, you told me," hummed Lau with a smile.

"What?" Questioned the inspector, shocked that he gave that information away.

"Ignore him, Lau. What are you doing here?" Asked Ciel.

"I own it," answered Lau, his smile still in place.

"I should have guessed," said Ciel.

"This Hope piece sounds fascinating my Lord, can you tell me more about?" Asked Lau, pressing for more information about the diamond.

"You've never heard of it? A blue diamond named after the man who's collection it was apart of, Henry Philip Hope," said Ciel.

"Don't know it," told Lau.

"It passed to Louis the 16th and Maria Antoinette, we know how they ended. The diamond is said to be a cursed stone and bring ruin to all who possess it. It was stolen a cut into 2 pieces. Those shards would certainly be valuable," said Ciel, explaining the importance of the diamond.

"The diamond was being moved as evidence but it's carriage was attacked, it was stolen," explained the inspector.

"Intriguing, details I want to help," hummed Lau.

*****

The inspector sighed as he continued to tell Ciel details of the case. Looking for more information about the diamond, the inspector left the cafe, and went to the Undertaker's, who had set up shop on the ice.

"Stay out here while I go in," told the inspector as he stepped inside the temporary shop. Ciel looked bored as he waited for the inspector to be finished his business.

A few minutes later and the sound of Undertakers laughter echoed through the shop, slipping through outside the tent. Having enough of the cold, Ciel, Lau and Sebastian went inside the tent.

"You should be a comedian," commented Undertaker with a creepy smile.

"I don't think..." started the inspector, only for him to be cut off by an annoyed Ciel.

"Enough! Can we get the Hope diamond information," told a frustrated Ciel. He wanted to finish this case quickly.

"I'll show you where the ring is but first I'm waiting on someone," said Undertaker with a suggestive smile. His eyes turned to the tent opening and another red haired man walked in holding some hot chocolate and biscuits.

"You!" Shouted Ciel, pointing at Grell, who gave a fake hurt look.

"Me," said a playful Grell as he put the cup and biscuits down on a table. "Didn't you learn that pointing is rude?"

"What are you doing here?" Asked Ciel with suspicion. He did not trust the shinigami in front of him.

"Talking to the Undertaker. Last time I checked that wasn't a crime, Phanomhive," drawled Grell, amused at Ciel flushed expression. 'I'm not the one embarrassed,' thought Grell.

"Your hot chocolate and biscuits are on the table Undertaker," told Grell as Undertaker went to pick up the hot chocolate and biscuits  on the table.

"Thank you," replied Undertaker with a biscuit in his mouth. "So what are you here for?"

"The Hope diamond," said Lau with a shrug.

"You shouldn't have told him that!" Scolded the inspector.

"Master, why doesn't Grell help us?" Asked Sebastian, sending a smile in Grell's direction. Undertaker bit off the head of the biscuit a little too loudly, causing Grell to look at him.

Ciel went over his options and huffed. "You are allowed to help us," said Ciel.

"Who said anything about me wanting to help but since I have nothing better to do then so be it," hummed Grell placing his hands behind his head. If there was one thing about Ciel, it was that he always was at the centre of trouble.

The group approached a statue of the queen, on one of her fingers was the diamond that they were looking for.

"We need to get this of now!" Shouted the inspector, summoning two other officers to help him but they were interrupted by the Viscount Druitt.

"If you want this statute you need to win the contest," told Druitt.

"Sebastian this is an order, win the competition!" Exclaimed Ciel.

"Of course, my Master," told Sebastian. Grell rolled his eyes at the antics of the two.

"Now folks the judging shall begin," announced the the man in charge of the event, the crowd cheered the response. "First up we have is Scotland Yard with the Guardian of London."

The Scotland Yard team designed an ice sculpture of Sir Arthur, leading to them gaining a total of five points. "The next team, who's name is All Women's Dresses Should Be Tiny and their entry."

The All Women's Dresses Should Be Tiny sculpture was of a naked Ran-Mao "For obvious reasons the statue has been disqualified out of the competition."

"But why?" Asked Lau, tilting his head innocently to the side.

"How could you possibly think that was proper to display," said Ciel, glaring at Lau. Grell, listening into the conversation laughed with Undertaker by his side.

"Next, the team called Queen's Puppy has the Ark of Noah," said the announcer. Lots of people were dazzled by the sculpture created by Sebastian.

"It's so beautiful," commented a lady in the crowd. The Ark's roof fell off, showing all the animals inside the boat. "Beautiful!"

"Genius!"

"Ladies and Gentlemen we still have two more entries. The second last one is from the team Grim and they have sculpted a Cheetah staking it's pray."

"That's so lovely!"

"Look at those teeth!"

Sebastian looked and gave a nod towards Grell and Undertaker, Grell smirked at Sebastian, proud of his own sculpture. May the best man win.

"Damn we're definitely not going to win now," said a robber that had previously be apart of stealing the diamond.

"Let's just take it!" Exclaimed another robber, with nods of agreeance the small group of robbers pulled out their guns. "Everyone stop what you are doing!"

"Give us the statute!" Shouted another robber, aiming his gun at the crowd. "Leave or we'll blow up the bridge!"

Nearly everyone ran away, bar the police, Ciel, Sebastian, Grell, Lau, Ran-Mao and the Undertaker. "Sebastian, deal with them," commanded Ciel, looking at the robbers with annoyance.

"Yes, my Master," replied Sebastian as he went to take care of the robbers. Grell wasn't bothered by the chaos at all, he continued to check his nails for any dirt. Why bother getting involved when Sebastian can do it?

The ice sculpture was a one off as he did enjoy making it. Sebastian quickly dealt with most of the robbers, with the only man left. Said man started throwing bombs on the ice but Sebastian stopped him.

Grell gave Sebastian a clap, the demon looked at who praised him only to find it was Grell, he smirked at getting the other man's attention on him.

Undertaker started to hug Grell, which Grell didn't mind because he liked the other man. Sebastian's smirk fell and Undertakers grew, and a declaration of war started. "Well done Sebastian but we better be going," told Grell.

Sebastian nodded but deep down he knew that he didn't want the other man to leave just yet, but he didn't know why.

"London bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down. London bridge is falling down, my fair lady..."

"So I thought to myself why not let the hope diamond find itself a new owner, eh, Master?" Hummed the same man that had killed the robber on the bridge. His focus was on the a person sitting on a wooden chair in front of him.

The person who was sitting in the chair chose not to comment, and instead hummed along the London Bridge song. Their fingers tapped along to the beat.
