「 the task 」
A black cloaked figure strutted through a long hallway lit by barely visible lights making the scene look quite omnious. The clicks of her boots hitting the hard stone echoed through the silent academy.
The moons lit up the outside as she glanced through the small cracks in the wall. Zera was told to go meet her trainer by midnight. She had no idea what he could want which made a little fear slip into her body, a few beads of sweat forming in the palm of her hands.
The young sith reached a big set of doors and knocked on it, they didn't take her to surprise when they open almost a second later. She walked into the room and knelt to the ground as soon as she saw the faces of all of the sith trainers in the academy.
They all whispered amongst each other and slowly, Tyn, her master stood up to look down at her from his seat.
"Young Zera," His voice boomed against the walls. "You have come in time, the Sith Lord will join us soon."
Zera nodded her head staying in the same position not daring to move even an inch. All this was quite nerve-racking in her opinion. The sickening silence that surrounded the room as they all waited for the Sith Lord to appear, and the red undertone of the room itself. She didn't think that the Sith Lord wanted to talk to her so soon.
A loud voice crackled through the space and the blue hologram of a cloaked figure appeared in their sight. Zera and the sith trainers all bowed their heads as a sign of greeting. The girl was getting more and more nervous.
"Zera Amidala," The old voice of a man rang through her ears. "It is time that we talk about your progress in your studies."
"Yes, my Lord." She nodded glancing up at the hologram.
"I have decided that you shall go on your own mission. You have become a very skilled sith, I hope I can trust you with it." The Sith Lord spoke with a formal undertone.
Whispers erupted in the room amongst the trainers. They knew Zera was really powerfull with the darkside of the force but didn't know if she was able to do it herself.
"Excuse me, my Lord, I don't think--" A trainer stood up.
"Silence!" The loud voice yelled. "I have made my decision. Zera will have a mission on her own on Coruscant."
This made the girl much more interested. She turned her head to face the hologram completely to hear the news.
"Zera will go to Coruscant tomorrow morning, she will go to a bar near the Jedi Temple and I know there will be Jedis there. I want you to get captured by them and once at the Temple gain Anakin Skywalkers trust." He continued speaking to the girl who he saw on the hologram from his point of view.
"I am capable of doing so," Zera nodded. "However how should I gain the boys trust?"
"Anyway you are able to, young one." The Sith answered. "You will go tomorrow as soon as possible, do not fail us."
The hologram shut off leaving the room illuminated in the red colour once again. Whisperes erupted once again amongst the trainers and soon her Tyn stood up. He motioned for his apprentice to stand up which she did.
"Zera, you must go grab some small personal belongings and prepare for the flight." Tyn told her as she bowed. "You may go now."
Zera nodded her head flipping the hood on her as she blended into the shadows. She hurried to her room to look around if she could even take anything. If she was going to get "captured" they would take all of her belongings anyways.
She finally decided on bringing her lightsaber, of course, a small blaster, another robe and a piece of glass she always takes with her everywhere she goes. Loads of people would think she's out of her mind, but that tiny thing holds a big importance to Zera. But not the happy kind.
The girl could already see the sun moving up the horizon making her squint. She never liked the light nor the sun, Zera however loved the dark. She could hide in the shadows and nobody would notice her while in the light everything was visible. Nothing was a secret, you could see everything.
If you'd ask Zera thats the way she'd describe the darkside. It gives the force user a sense of freedom and they can do much more things, since they can always be hidden in the shadows. Secrets can't be seen and everything would stay hidden. However in the lightside nothing could stay as it was. There was barely any chance of freedom only the code and to obey the rules. You could not have any attachments and there was nothing that could stay a secret from the Jedi Council.
A knock sounded from the metal door to her room and without turning around she opened it for the person.
"Hey, Zera." Brax waved as him and Vyna entered the small sleeping quater.
"We heard that you're going away today, so we thought we would come and see you." Vyna told her.
"Yes, I've got a task to complete." Zera stated putting her stuff in a tiny pouch.
"When will we see you again?" Brax asked.
"I cannot say, hopefully soon." The girl replied as her lightsaber got attached to her belt.
Vyna gave a small smile and hugged Zera with Brax joining. The blonde haired girl felt a bit uncomfortable with the closeness of the two siths but soon just gave in.
"This feels weird, but I'll allow it." Zera let a small chuckle escape her lips.
"We're going to miss you, Zera." Brax grinned as Zera shook her head.
"Believe me, you won't." She mumbled looking outside seeing the sun almost fully up now.
"Zera Amidala! Come to the hangar immediately!" Her masters voice rang through the academy.
"Well, I hope to see you too soon." Zera gave them a grimace which was trying to form a smile.
She barely smiled at anyone.
The two siths gave their salutions as their friend dissapeared into the darkness of the hallways. Zera walked towards the huge hangar of Korriban and saw Tyn and a few more trainers standing by a ship. It was a bit worn down fury ship but it would do for the flight to Coruscant.
"Zera, this is where our paths go seperate ways." Tyn told her as he walked up to his apprentice. "You have been a good student and I was lucky to train you."
"Thank you, master. It was an honour." The girl replied as she somehow climbed into the cockpit.
"Make me proud." Tyn nodded his head as Zera gave one back.
She closed the cockpit and pushed a few buttons for take off. The girl was an amazing pilot, one of the best in the academy. Zera slowly took off from Korriban into the darkness of space.
She made the ship fly autopilot for a while so she could get some sleep since she couldn't the night before. Before she could close her eyes the girl hooked the ship onto the course to Coruscant. Thats when she blacked out.

Loud beeps surrounded Zera as she groaned and sat up in the chair. The ship was telling her that they were nearing the planet. Once she looked outside there it was in all its glory, the overly lit Coruscant. Zera only grimaced at the sight of it.
She stuck the ship out of auto pilot and flew down towards the planet by her own. As she neared more and more ships came into view, some leaving and some flying towards it. Once she got into the traffic Zera followed ger senses to the bar the Sith Lord was talking about.
She turned a few times, changed routes but soon enough she felt a pull to a certain place under her. Zera flew the plane down and landed it in a hidden place which was a bit hard. The girl had to pay a man to not say a word about what he saw.
Zera made her way to the lively space on the small road and walked inside. She tried not to get any suspicion on herself and the girl walked over to the bar itself. She asked for a drink and sat down on a stool as her eyes scanned the place. Zera could already feel two force sensitives in the area coming closer and closer making her chuckle.
As the man came back with her drinks two jedi stepped inside the bar making Zera glance at them for a second. She was often told that her hate could be felt in a whole room so it was harder to decide who it was radiating off. The girl casually sipped from the drink as she watched the two stride around turning a few people around. As they neared her a small smirk drew itself onto her face.
"Turn around and don't dare to attack." A male voice sounded from behind her. "It's jedi buisness."
Zera let out a sarcastic yawn and put her arms up turning around.
"Oh, no..." She smiled at them innocently.
"You caught me."
