I WRITE THIS LETTER to the royal family of nightingale; may every day be a reminder to cherish what you have while you still have it.

i look forward to meeting you, though i must admit it will be under fortunate and unfortunate circumstances.

it is all anyone can hope for at this time that the king passes [peacefully] and the prince─the nightingale of our nightingale─will do well upon the throne with a proper queen by his side.

it is to the nightingale that i ask the question that has settled in my mind;

what will be your first decisions as king?
