𝐱𝐢𝐢. Draco Malfoy fanfiction

Um...so according to the title of this yap, I now have a Draco Malfoy fanfiction that I'm about to write by the summer and publish by autumn (hopefully) because I cannot actually stop myself. I am my biggest enemy.

I wrote this because I've been on my DraMione brain rot (yes, I am a DraMione shipper, a huge shipper of different noncanon ships like Blaise X Luna, Ginny X Theo, Pansy X Harry, Pansy X Neville, Luna X Theo, Charlie X Hermione, Hermione X Fred—anyone paired with Hermione except Ron, lol, I'm not a Romione basher cause I accept all ships that's why we're a damn fandom anyway and let people have fun with their lives)

Continuing where I left off. I also read Catharina Maura's The Windsor Series, which is a series I absolutely adore, but the gist is there are siblings who are wealthy as fuck, and they're all set up for arranged marriages; they all have their separate books. I definitely recommend it. Don't let the first book fool you. It gets so much better; we all know the first book of every book series is a hit-and-miss anyway.

And I was like, I wanted to do a freaking arranged marriage for so long in my fics, but I just don't have the right love interest to do it with, then it clicked to me recently, omyghod, Draco Malfoy is such a perfect pair for it to do that. HONESTLY. Filthy, rich, old money, old family/traditions, perfect bachelor, their family is known to have arranged marriages to keep the pureblood lineage intact. IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!

Before we fully delve into this. I have changed the face claim for Draco Malfoy; I used to love Tom Felton. Don't get me wrong, he just gave me a huge ick when he continued to praise J.K Rowling. Like, I get it. You owe the woman your entire career, but don't you see Emma or Daniel supporting her? So, Tom Felton is a no for me.

RIGHT? DO YOU GET IT? He fits Draco Malfoy so well. If I'm going to do a recast, you better know damn well that I'm going to make it right.

So basically, a stand-alone fic is a post-war setting. Five years after the war. A lot of healing, angst, pain, remembering, and redemption.

My OC is French-Italian, a woman who wasn't that involved in the war since she grew up in France; I know France didn't want to get involved with Britain's problem of Voldemort because they already dealt with Grindelwald before. So she's the perfect candidate to be in an arranged marriage with an ex-death eater.

The face claim for my OC is Deva Cassel! And she's literally perfect.

Once I officially finish writing Enchanted, I will write this along with my stand-alone Spencer Reid fanfiction. I only work with three fics at a time. Sinta is already finished, so there will be two available slots in my writing queue.

And I hope you're as excited as I am! I DIDN'T ACTUALLY INTEND TO WRITE THIS FIC, BUT I NEED IT FOR SELF-INDULGENCE.

But this will probably be a short one! The same for my Spencer Reid fan fiction, which is 25-30 chapters max. It really is just fulfilling my own delusions😭 I was deciding whether I'll do this or my Theseus Scamander fanfiction, which is part of my Woven Hexes series, and I was like, "Theseus fic is the fourth book of the series, and I'm just writing the first book, LOLS." But it's completely different eras, so I might work on that on my own!
