Kuragari is a calculating, manipulative, psychopathic, selfish, narcissistic, cold-hearted and immoral cursed spirit with little regard for others and sometimes even herself as well. She belittles everyone around her besides herself, believing that everything must be done in her terms, she is very cruel and vindictive, often delighted in torturing others both physically and emotionally inside and outside of battle.

On the outside, Kuragari acts as a refined and proper lady as she quoted once was in her human years a lady of high status, she holds herself in a manner of grace and class with a love for the rich and fancy lifestyle, she can seem charming to those who first meet her and offering to listen to others problems and even help them, but this shows her extremely cunning and deceptive nature as she is able to blackmail, manipulate and take advantage of others for her own personal gain and power, while still holding the facade of graceful and high class human woman for years. She has little qualms betraying her friends and allies and holds no remorse for all of her cruel actions, as a human in her past and as a cursed spirit.

Due to her immense power as a cursed spirit, she rarely cares about the consequences of her actions, even if it affects her allies. To those who serve her or work beside her, they often see her as a rude, arrogant, cruel and calloused personality, who is entitled to the dignity of those poorer than her in power, age and materialistic wise. She tolerates no slights, even resorting to being sharpish and even abusing them verbally and physically intimidate those around her. She is extremely ruthless to humans, even if they serve her under her influence of her cursed techniques and even puts the same treatment on cursed spirits who are her allies if she deems fit for it.

Kuragari is very lustful, not only for sexual favors and intimate affairs but also for fighting and bloodshed, much like Ryomen Sukuna being an immense glutton for the same reason. She has to enjoy observing how people act, when they are at their lowest and have to fight for the top; often forcing her own human and cursed spirit slaves to fight for the top to win any sort of genuine affection or a materialistic prize from her; where she purposefully encourages mistreatment, bullying and sub-human conditions on others as well, revealing a very sadistic side to herself.

Kuragari has no regard for human life and simple follows through what interests her and fuels her ambitions, she has to actually not worry about herself too much either as long as she accomplishes her goals and as long as the journey is entertaining, the outcome doesn't matter. She likes to exorcise control over others, being her enemies, her friends and allies, cursed spirit, jujutsu sorcerer or human, are only pawns in her bigger game and plot and jujutsu sorceresses only serve a purpose to make her grow stronger.

The one thing that however truly interests her in this world is Jujutsu Sorceresses, as well as their powers and their abilities. She often studies them, knowing that every one of them is born different with a different soul and being outcasts of the jujutsu world, often meeting several of them and eventually stealing away and devouring their souls in the end after torturing them and before killing them afterwards.

Kuragari admits often that she doesn't care about simply winning or losing, she often craves excitement and with this, she masks all her other emotions, rarely letting herself ever lose control over her emotions. Kuragari is a gambler of many things, especially her own life and often likes to bet on everything she has and since takes many risks, her outcomes always favor herself being overly confident in knowing that she will always win.

Despite her generally calm and confident disposition, there are times when Kuragari's controlled demeanor is disrupted, one where she gets excited when she in the face of another jujutsu sorceress to feed on her soul and there are times when a strong opponent will not battle her, being disappointed and angry at this choice.

With this, Kuragari holds a raging, impatient, volatile, and supremely ambitious personality, which makes her prone to killing or maiming anyone who stood in her way. However, much of this is masked by a casual confidence and appearance of friendliness, which she can murder humans and cursed spirits who stand in her way and then offer someone a high position in serving her as if nothing has happened.

Kuragari is aware of her immense power that she holds, most jujutsu sorcerers and even sorceresses have been unable to even defeat her because of her cursed techniques and her capabilities of wearing her enemies and opponents emotionally and mentally down, she is very arrogant about her powers and high dismissive of her opponents and rarely takes them seriously, unless she senses their great power. Despite being a refined lady, she is not unwilling to have blood on her hands and her clothes, even if she complains about the stain later on and carries on as if nothing happened.

Kuragari is high intelligent and very manipulative cursed spirit, being older than Mahito by ninety-eight years but younger than Sukuna by a few centuries, she is much wiser than Mahito and more mature than him but she is more arrogant and often more reckless than Ryomen Sukuna, showing how much younger she is than him.

Kuragari takes sadistic pleasure in torturing humans, as seen how she demonstrates to a troubled Junpei how she warps the mind of a human and how she tortures others for fun, she takes great pleasure in watching other people suffer at the hands of her abilities and her own selfishness.

She has little to no respect for others around her, she preserves a rigid hierarchy within Mahito's and treats her weaker and humans friends like servants, though she has some affection to the ones slightly stronger than her. She holds no loyalty to anyone but herself, often justifying it as a powerful cursed spirit.

Kuragari is not completely without mercy nor is completely unfair, as shown if humans or cursed spirits agree to serve her or do not stand in her way or even beat the Social Darwinism hierarchy games she invented, she is willing to admit defeat when the time comes and accepts her losses, she is also willing to acknowledge the strength of her opponents. She is also is able to remarkably regain control of herself when she finds herself back at victory or on the path of her goals again.
