YUTA OKKOTSU, a supposed to be normal high school student sat all alone in the execution chamber hidden inside a high school for its purpose known by very few, awaiting his fate he could see with his darkened bleak vision turning grim....

That's all he felt, complete and utter darkness inside of him. He was cursed to hell and damnation of those blood who has been tainted with Rika's hand. He was now forever hers, but at what cost?

On the opposite room however, stood two very powerful figures of the world of jujutsu. Satoru Gojo, the Strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer and Akina Tengan, the Strongest Jujutsu Sorceress. Both who were opposing the execution of a teenage boy, Yuta Okkotsu with a curse of his deceased childhood friend and lover attached to him.
"Are we sure that this case here is one to be sorted with a secret execution?", a woman with a soft voice holding authority but also an eerily calm atmosphere around her. "He is only a teenager with barely control over this curse and he bares no malicious heart or intent"
She knew her words would not be listened, but she would speak anyways. They needed to hear this even if they would be deaf to her as a woman and the strongest jujutsu sorceress.
"The child in question did consent though", one voice of the higher ups, answered Akina's question.
Satoru Gojo stepped up next, speaking alongside his coworker who shared the title of the strongest alongside him. "He's underage, just sixteen years old. And who knows how many he's cursed to death so far"
Akina kept her calm as she started to speak next, "He's already turned the tables on three two grade sorcerers and a grade one sorcerer. If you ask me, that is quite immense power, which is the reason who you turned to me and Gojo, have you not?"
She knew the higher ups wanted her and Satoru Gojo to execute Yuta Okkotsu, just like he wanted to take this way to commit suicide.
"So, you both will take him?"
"Yes, Yuta Okkotsu, will attend Jujutsu High School", upon Satoru Gojo, making that declaration and announcement.
Akina stated at the chambers the high ups kept their faces hidden behind, "Yes but don't forget, no funny business in trying to get the boy killed by your own dirty work, or I'll make sure to have your blood painted in my artworks"
Upon hearing those words coming from the sorceress, one could be heard growling angrily at her threat. 'Surely, she must be joking. She must know her place'
Akina smirked, all of these old men hated that she spoke her mind and was now rising above them. She absolutely thrilled in watching them shake and shiver in fear or become angry at when she spouted the truth, it was a sight that she would keep engraved in her ego for as long as she lived.
She knew that Satoru also loved watching the sight of the higher ups panicking when she played tricks on them. He absolutely loved it, however he would never quiver in fear at her power, no, he would bow to her without her ever needing to ask. He may be god but she was his divination. What made his good pleasant.

Inside the chamber where Yuta was awaiting neither patiently or impatiently for his execution to be carried out. He wondered if he would suffer, just like those who were killed or gravely injured by the cursed hands of Rika or if it would be peaceful and painless, like the days he has never experienced in a very long time besides this lonely moment.
Akina stared down at the boy who had his body curled up on the chair, hugging his knees for comfort. "Yuta Okkotsu, am I correct?", she asked for the name of the student and he in return; nodding his head silently but barely lifted his gaze to meet with the dark haired woman.
Satoru however, opposite of the woman who held a concerned and warm aura to her, instead held his usual extroverted and carefree attitude.
"You made this in shop class, Yuta Okkotsu?", the man who wore a white blindfold that matched his hair color asked his new student curiously as he wore a carefree smile. "I see you're creative too, looks like you and Aki-Chan will get along very nicely", he commented, being quite impressed.
"It used to be a knife", Yuta answered the man, his voice timid and low, "I tried killing myself but Rika wouldn't let me"
Hearing how the student attempted to end his life to end this curse, it made a heart string tug at the dark haired woman's heart. Her past and many unpleasant experiences all because of her power almost lead her down a dark path year ago but she was fortunate to have someone help her chose the light. Something inside her felt strongly that she and Yuta are similar, that she should take him under her wing to help him.
"Kinda dark", Satoru commented as he dropped the knife with the blade that was twisted and now barely sharp enough to even function as one.
Akina's eyes narrowed as she stared back at her coworker, "Satoru", she opposed, not liking how he wasn't taking the situation seriously.
"Okay okay Aki", he put his hands up in surrender before he focused his blindfolded gaze onto Yuta.
"Guess what? You're starting at a new school today", as Satoru passed the news onto Yuta, the boy seemed to be less than pleased.
"I'm not going", the cursed boy protested.
Akina stood up from her kneeling position as she focused her soft maternal gaze onto the boy.
"I don't want to hurt anyone anymore, so I'm never going outside again", Yuta's voice barely cracked as he continued keeping his gaze lowered from the shame and guilt that overflowed his mind and heart, burdening him of his pain of having Rika attached to him.
"Never?", Satoru asked him, being quite shocked at his declaration. "You're gonna get pretty lonely that way"
"You will already die alone, if you want to die, don't you want to be surrounded by people who will stand by you?", Akina asked him.
Yuta could hear the two speaking clearly. He couldn't deny that this was a lonely path to go, to be alone and then to die alone. It was a path of only suffering and not living at all.
"The curse that was placed upon you, it's a curse that can save people too. Depending on how it's used of course", Satoru explained to Yuta.
"Here, we can help you. Maybe if you learn how to use this curse to help someone, it can work for you instead of against you but if you still wish to get rid of it in the end, that is your decision and your decision alone", going down on one knee, Akina leaned her gaze up on the student who held his head down away from the world; the cruel world he was thrust into and had taken away his childhood best friend and cursed him to have her haunt him.
Yuta heard the words of the dark haired woman and how he lifted his gaze up a bit. The dim lights gave him a better view of the female teacher in front of him, he didn't how but the dim candle lights made her glow. Like she was an ethereal being in front of him.
The light allowed him to look properly into her siren eyes, holding amethyst colored gems that held warmth, kindness, contrasting this room was incredibly dark and gloomy, just like himself. Her ebony black hair was glowing a gentle light alongside her caramel colored skin in this light and while her appearance, had him genuinely terrified at first as he came into the room, it all changed. Somehow having her here with him, it made him feel a bit warmer. Like there was hope at the end, something good awaiting for him.
The morning of the next day had arrived, Yuta after barely finding the motivation to wake up, get ready and to eat breakfast miraculously started making his way to the entrance of the high school which was designed like any fancy Japanese set up.
At the entrance, the two jujutsu sorcerers who were waiting for him, Akina Tengan and Satoru Gojo, were awaiting for his arrival.
Satoru greeted him with a wave while Akina walked up to him, making sure that he was not too nervous to start his first day of school. "Are you doing okay, Yuta?", she asked her new student who had just transferred today.
He nodded hesitantly, "Yeah, I'm pulling through", with him admitting it weakly, he was surprised when Akina's hand was on his head and started to softly ruffle his hair.
"Hey, it's at least a step forward. Don't be so harsh on yourself", the teacher reassured her student. Her hand, it held such a gentle force to it, the way it touched his head. He was so surprised from what he heard from Satoru Gojo about her powers being so feared but here she is, making sure he was okay and cheering him up. For so much power and to be feared by so many, she was so gentle.
Suddenly, a loud growl was heard, making Yuta quickly snap his head and he saw a large white Siberian tiger walk towards him.
Yuta let out a loud help as the tiger started to slowly approach him and his teacher. "Oh no a tiger!", the timid boy yelled out in fear as he was about to run away but to his surprise, Akina smiled softly and let out a chuckle as she looked at the tiger that approached her.
"Hello Maaya", she greeted the tiger that approached her and nudged its head by her leg and closed its eyes. Akina let out a small laugh as her fingers started to gently scratch the top of the tigers head as it rubbed its head against her hand.
Yuta's jaw practically dropped to the ground as he saw how his teacher had kept a large white Siberian tiger as a pet and seeing how the tiger was so friendly and gentle towards Akina too was more shocking to him.
Satoru pouted as he walked up to his coworker and her pet tiger, "Awww come on Maaya, you give love to Akina and always attack me, no fair"
The tiger, showing obvious favoritism towards the two adults growled and roared at Satoru before swiping its paw to attack the white haired man but he chuckled as he managed to use his warping technique to avoid the tigers attack. "Missed me", he snickered, making Maaya growl and roar in irritation.
Akina deadpanned at her coworkers immature behavior before walking up to him and giving him a flick on the forehead. The white haired blindfolded man pouted as he rubbed the part of his forehead that she flicked, "Awww come on Aki, stop being so mean to me"
"You stop being an idiot, we've got our students coming and we need to make Yuta as comfortable as possible too", the sorceress sighed in annoyance as turned her attention towards Maaya. Taking note of what she wanted her to do, the white siberian tiger, nudged his head against Akina one last time before it dispersed from the scene.
Yuta tilted his head slightly as he watched the tiger running away, taking a second to admire its beauty as it didn't scare him as much anymore. "Oh where is she going?", he asked as he turned his head towards Akina.
"To make sure the other students aren't late and notify me if any are missing or not feeling well", she answered Yuta's question as she started to lead him into the main building of the school alongside Satoru.
"Wow, you actually managed to tame that tiger?", Yuta asked, his mouth agape in awe and admiration of the sorceress.
Akina shrugged her shoulders, "I didn't tame her, I won her respect and I've raised and took care of her since she was a cub", she answered him. "She's my friend, not my pet" With hearing that simple answer, the cursed boy couldn't help but admire his new teacher even more. But he also felt his heart starting to pound heavily around her and felt himself become more nervous but it was from something more than just the intimidation and admiration that he felt towards her.
(Maaya)
˚₊‧꒰ა♥️໒꒱ ‧₊˚ -ˋˏ ༻🌹༺ˎˊ- ˚₊‧꒰ა♥️໒꒱ ‧₊˚
On another side of the school, the current first years of Jujutsu Tech started to walk a different path towards the building. There walked a boy with spilt white hair with his mouth covered in a scarf, a girl with dark green hair in a ponytail carrying a long bag with a spear over her shoulder and a panda while Maaya walked alongside the three students, noting that they were all present.
"Did you hear about the new transfer student coming today?", the giant panda asked his classmates, "they say he stuffed four of his old classmates into a locker"
"You mean he killed them?", the girl named Maki Zenin, asked the cursed corpse creature.
"Tuna Mayo?", the curse speech user student, Toge Inumaki, took his turn to ask Panda.
"Nah. Gravely injured", Panda affirmed his classmates. "Big Sis Aki is taking him under her wing to help him with his curse of some sort apparently"
"Huh. Well if he's cocky I'll put him in his place", Maki confirmed.
"Bonito flakes", Toge complained, knowing Maki's rough nature and how she was judging the new student too quickly but something inside the curse speech user boy felt concern about the cursed boy.
Suddenly the students heard a small growl, all four of them turned their attention and saw their beloved sensei's Tiger companion, Maaya.
"Hey Maaya", Panda greeted the white Siberian Tiger, giving the tiger a small salute while Toge bent down and started to pet the tigers head. The Tiger being unable to purr, showed content as she nudged her head against the white haired student.
Maki looked down at the Tiger and her hand gently rubbed against Maaya. Letting the students gently touch her and pet her for a bit of time, the white tiger eventually led them to the classroom where both of their teachers had an important announcement for them to hear.
˚₊‧꒰ა♥️໒꒱ ‧₊˚ -ˋˏ ༻🌹༺ˎˊ- ˚₊‧꒰ა♥️໒꒱ ‧₊˚
Inside the classroom, where all three first year students of Tokyo's jujutsu sorcerer high school and the teacher inside the room was Satoru Gojo as Akina Tengan stood outside with Yuta Okkotsu to make sure he understood cursed energy, cursed techniques and everything that she know her coworker would forget to tell him about.
"Students of all grades! We have a new student! Give him a hand!", Satoru Gojo, upon being too enthusiastic as he shouted in excitement as the classroom stayed silent, even with Maaya playing at the back of her room with her blanket and her new favorite stuffed monkey that Akina bought her a few days ago on a trip to New York.
"Ah, not one hand", Satoru muttered to himself in defeat.
"I heard that the kids a real wet blanket, the last thing that I need is another moody rookie to look after", Maki stated, tapping her finger on her knee.
"Salmon", Toge agreed while Panda stayed silent.
Satoru, hearing his students unenthusiastic opinions of their new classmate that they haven't even met yet, the jujutsu sorcerer who worked as a teacher for them sighed. "Oh well then", he shrugged still remaining his positive and carefree attitude as he turned his head to the door.
"You can come on in now", the white haired blindfolded called out to Yuta, who was standing nervously alongside his teacher, Akina Tengan.
'Oh man. These students really don't sound enthusiastic today' Akina sighed internally to herself but she couldn't blame them. Sometimes hearing about a new student coming to school would make people uneasy at times.
'I sense a really dark mood in there' Yuta stepped back, feeling himself become uneasy.
"Hey", Akina stopped Yuta as she put a hand on one of his shoulders. "Just give everyone some time and I'm sure they'll all grow onto you" Yuta tensed up as he knew he couldn't run away right now, that he would be going down this path in a new life, meeting new people here. It was now or never.
With taking a moment of silence to himself, Yuta finally took the chance to open the door so he could enter the classroom with his other teacher and the other students waiting for him on the other side.
The other students in the classroom sat in silence and disinterest of their new classmate who was about to walk in. 'I'll just ignore him' Maki leaned her chin on her fist while her elbow rested on her desk.
However, as soon as the cursed boy took his first step in, a dark malicious aura started to spread all around the classroom. An atmosphere so strong, so malicious of hatred and anger but devotion and love to the boy it was attached too, that even one who could barely even see curses felt paralyzed by its at presence. Yuta Okkotsu continued taking his steps forward into the classroom, unaware that his classmates could feel the presence of his childhood friend, Rika Orimoto, who has been attached to him since the day of her death.
Maaya, feeling the air growing tense stood up, suddenly letting out a strong growl as she positioned herself in a stance, getting ready to pounce the threat and take it down.
When Rika was more visible, the curse spirit she was shaped into bore a plain expression until it spotted the other students and a tiger getting up and ready to attack. Maki who unzipped the bag that carried her cursed tool, Panda attached the sports knuckle bracers and Toge getting ready to lower his scarf to fully access his cursed speech ability.
Yuta, seeming a bit confused but too tired and drained to do a full proper introduction, stood at the front of the room as he was instructed. "I'm Yuta O", the boy gasped, almost screamed out as the three students in front of him suddenly attacked him.
Satoru watched the whole incident happen in front of him as the three students stepped forward to attack. "Is this some kind of test?", Maki chided, glaring at the boy frightened at seeing a sharp bladed weapon now stabbed into the chalkboard behind him as Panda and Toge stood beside her, glaring at the boy and getting ready to attack him as well.
"Hey! Don't you know that you're cursed? This is a place to learn about curses, not for the curse to be hanging around", the cursed tool master started to berate the boy in front of her.
"You three", Akina's voice raised, holding authority as she stepped up towards her students. "Back away right now", but the students were confused.
"Akina-sensei, what is this nonsense?", Maki clicked her tongue as she raised an eyebrow at her most respected teacher.
Panda turned his head towards his older sister, "Aki, what is going on here?", he asked her, now growling in anger and confusion of her command.
"The number of people that die mysterious deaths or go missing in Japan, is over ten thousand a year on average. The majority of those, are actually not accidents but caused by curses born from negative emotions. Among them are also some evil cases caused by curse users, you see, only a curses can affect other curses. This place is where we learn to exorcise curses. Welcome to Tokyo Jujutsu High School"
Yuta listened to the man wearing the blindfold speak and he knew what he was talking about. Yesterday when he was released, Akina explained the situation to him and what the school functioned for. However, hearing as he only explained it now when Akina explained it all to him much early caused him to create an expression of confusion and defeat.
'He's just telling me this now?'
This irked the first year students and Akina Tengan, who turned their heads towards the man who wore his white blindfold. 'What? He's just telling him that now?'
Akina sighed as she held the bridge of her nose while Satoru frowned apologetically while holding his hand up. 'My bad'
"Oh wait, you three should back away from Yuta right now and quickly too", unfortunately, Akina and Satoru's attempt in warning the confused students was in vain as the cursed spirit named Rika Orimoto started to appear from the wall, grabbing Maki's cursed tool without hesitation.
Seeing the cursed spirit suddenly pop out from the wall, all three of the first year students backed away as quickly as they could and got themselves ready to fight at any given moment.
"Do not!", the cursed spirits voice was heard, a sinister undertone mixed with anger as her hand clutched on the cursed tool of Maki Zenin.
"Stop it! Rika!", Yuta tried to stop his childhood friend and lover from attacking the students but she wouldn't listen.
"BULLY YUTA!!!"
The cursed reached her hand forward, attacking the three students quite viciously but not enough to kill them as Akina Tengan and Satoru Gojo were able to stop the cursed spirit from doing so and saving their students but ended up having them to learn the hard way in not to bully their newcomer and to aggravate the curse attached to him.
˚₊‧꒰ა♥️໒꒱ ‧₊˚ -ˋˏ ༻🌹༺ˎˊ- ˚₊‧꒰ა♥️໒꒱ ‧₊˚
Akina's mind pondered. How could a little girl with no connection's to the jujutsu world with parents and a grandmother with no ties to any jujutsu sorcerer families suddenly become such a powerful curse. Yuta told her all about the day he witnessed how Rika was driven over by a car, her head was crushed in and that there was no chance of survival for her. How he was frozen on the spot, how he didn't want her to die.
The negative emotions of the other people who surrounded the area could've been a cause, Akina knew it was a possibility but it was too slim. It was something that had to be even more powerful and stronger than just a small group.
Now it was attached to the boy, keeping the promise that they would get married when they grew up. That day, changed Yuta's life for worse. A snowball of traumatic events that piled up and buried him in darkness for so long.
Akina found the whole story fascinating and a mystery to be solved but also a student to take care of and help with the best of her abilities.
With the whole classroom now wretched and Maaya in the corner, laying down just playing with her ball and favorite blanket while Satoru explained the situation more to the students. It was already starting to turn eventful and not in a good way for the sorceress.
"So, as you can see this boy was cursed by his friend Rika who is still madly in love with him. Be nice to him or else, Rika, will get you", Satoru explained a bit too enthusiastically as he pointed to Yuta who stood silently while the rest of his students stood by, angry at the teacher as they were attacked by the cursed spirit and left with a few scratches and scrapes but also their prides and egos slightly wounded.
Akina put one hand on her hip as she held her head with the index fingers of her head. "Satoru, thanks to your incompetence to explain, they already learnt the hard way", she sighed in annoyance but turned her head to face her students. "Just use this as a reminder that if you attack Yuta, Rika's curse will activate and I doubt that she will show you any mercy for next time"
"Or maybe it won't", Satoru popped up, "It's hard to say. So be careful everyone", he warned in a sing song tone.
"Now he tells us?", Maki grumbled to herself angrily.
Akina stepped forward, "I'll just take over for today cuz someone isn't explaining the whole story and needs to take this situation a bit more seriously", the sorceress deadpanned as she looked at her coworker who just pouted as he turned his head away.
"So mean Aki", he sighed, but in truth he didn't mind. She could degrade him and he absolutely loved it, especially behind the scenes.
Yuta looked at the white haired blindfolded teacher with an unamused expression. 'I have a feeling, this teacher is the problem. Not Akina-sensei or the students'
Akina shook her head before turning her attention towards the cursed boy, "Yuta, meet your new classmates. This is the cursed tool user, Maki Zenin, she's uses tools to exorcise curses. She's got a mean bark and a meaner bite and she's not one to be fucked with"
Hearing those words from her teacher, Maki blushed slightly as her hands gripped her cursed polearm slightly.
"This is the cursed speech user, Toge Inumaki. He can only speak in rice ball ingredients but the rest of the students and myself have a slight idea of his glossary and language, so if you have a question, let me know", Akina introduced the white haired boy who had his mouth covered by his scarf look at Yuta.
"Kelp", Toge greeted his new classmate as he lifted his hand up.
"Kelp for example, means he's greeting you", Akina added in.
"And this is my little brother, Panda", Akina introduced her little brother next who just stood still and in silence.
'Wait! He's her brother?' Yuta's jaw nearly dropped to the floor as he turned to the teacher and animal who could supposedly talk and communicate like a normal human being. It was already strange enough that she had a Siberian tiger as a pet who was just playing around at the back of the classroom.
"Hi, I'm Panda. It's nice to meet ya", Panda took his turn in greeting his new classmate next.
Satoru held his chin thoughtfully as he looked at his students, "Okay. You're all set", he hummed to himself.
However, Yuta still had not even the slightest clue what he was doing in the classroom. He knew that Akina explained the world of jujutsu sorcery to him, how it works, curses and more. But it was still a big mind blower and pill to swallow for him. To him, he was living a haunted dream with a video games settings and barely had enough instructions to get through the first round or to even know the characters at all.
"Aight, it looks like our first year class is officially with four students in this room", Akina announced as she stood next to Satoru while Yuta went to join the other students.
'Three students and one animal anyway' Yuta thought to himself as he looked at his classmates worriedly.
"For your afternoon Jujutsu Practice, you'll be in pairs of two on two", Satoru announced eccentrically as he held his hands up, showcasing two fingers on the both of them. "Toge and Panda, you're one pair"
As Satoru announced the first group, Panda seemed satisfied with the result as he and Toge got along quite well. "Alright", he fisted his hand and looked at the cursed speed user.
"And Maki, you're with Yuta", as Satoru announced it, the cursed tool used was instantly disappointed.
"Gah!", she exclaimed in annoyance.
'Did she just say "Gah"?' Yuta asked himself in worry, knowing very well that his classmate did not like him at all despite it just being the first day that they met and she barely even knew him.
For their first mission, Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zenin were brought to a elementary school where they would be explained further of their mission by their teachers. And both teachers assigned to this mission in case something would go wrong with Rika Orimoto or a curse too powerful for the students to take on would outclass them. It was rare but it was better safe than sorry for the time being.
Akina and Satoru walked in front of both Yuta and Maki as the one walked straight ahead, eyes on the goal while the other looked around curiously. "Where are we?", Yuta turned his head, exploring the area.
"An elementary school where children have gone missing", Akina explained to Yuta.
"Gone missing?", Yuta exclaimed in shock and fear.
"It happens a lot in places like this. It's probably the work of a naturally occurring curse", Satoru took in his turn to explain the situation.
Yuta gulped nervously, "Are you both saying that a curse actually kidnapped some kids?", he asked the two.
"Yup. Two kids so far", Satoru answered Yuta, dragging along the "yup" part.
"If we weren't called any sooner, maybe more could've gone missing and this curse seems to be either quite sneaky or very powerful", Akina added, her amethyst hues looking up at the school roof. Something inside her remembered how school could be either an amazing or a hellish experience for some people. It was obvious something small must've become this powerful to swirl around the school.
"Curses tend to settle in spots like these. Places where bad memories occurred", Maki started to speak to Yuta. "Schools, hospitals, places often remembered with negative emotions are a receptacle for curses. As those emotions build up, they can cause a curse to be born, like it was here"
"We're here to exorcise the curse and save the kids or retrieve them if they're dead", Satoru explained to both Maki and Yuta, but hearing the last part caused Yuta's breath to hitch.
"Dead?"
Remembering that Akina set up the veil last time, Satoru lifted his hand and balled it into a fist as he left his middle finger and index finger up together near his lips as his head was positioned down. "Emerge from darkness, black or still. Purify that which is impure"
Suddenly, Yuta started to watch a veil being put up for the first time. A dark cloud started to form itself around the area they were surrounded in. "Huh? The days turning into night", Yuta gasped as he watched the veil being set up all together.
"This is a veil, it's like a barrier of some sort that weeds out the curses even from even the darkest corners", Akina explained to Yuta as she started to work alongside Satoru to walk out of the barrier space.
"It also keeps us hidden from the outside", Satoru added as he waved to his students as he started to walk alongside his coworker before the veil could fully cover the area around the school.
"It's pretty easy to undo from inside. Do be careful now you two, try not to die", as the veil fully covered the area and both teachers were out of the area.
"Die?", Yuta gasped, now feeling himself becoming even more anxious on this mission. And now he was working with his classmate who seemed to hate his guts more than anything else, so he knew that this mission would be anything but easy.

As Akina and Satoru stepped outside of the barrier, they stood against the black limo that Satoru drove to the elementary school; trustfully leaving the mission of the cursed took master and the new student. Akina knew that Maki was capable of defending herself and fighting to survive but she would be lying if she said that she wasn't concerned for Yuta. The boy just transfer to the school today and this would be a dangerous mission if the curse was stronger than expected.
But she would put her trust in Maki for now, she's trained her and taught her how to use a lot of cursed tools since she became a student.
"Why're you so quiet Aki?", Satoru asked his coworker, showing both concern but also his usual laidback attitude on display.
Akina sighed as she turned her back against the limo, "I'm just wondering if our new student will be okay during this mission. Maki is tough but she can be a bit too harsh, especially with Yuta when he's endured a lot of unpleasant experiences", she stated her concern. It may be a bit too personal to care for a student to the point where they wouldn't go on a mission, but she knew from experience that letting the darkness of your mind cloud your vision on missions was one that always ended up in the bloodshed of the innocent.
"Hey, don't worry your pretty little head about it. We already gave Yuta permission to let Rika out for now if it will help him", his voice was hushed as he stood in front of Akina, his hand surprisingly so soft yet so calloused from their training and his mission, leaned in to touch her cheek, cupping it as he leaned his forehead in and let it touch hers. Despite his eyes being covered by his blindfold, his vision was focused on her as the world vanished all around him. Like it always did.
Akina knew that this was his way of reassuring her. Sometimes her mind would think too much and it would spiral, her anxiety for her students would be so grand that she would encounter sleepless nights and at times, he stayed awake with her to talk.
"Now, how about a little of time to us so we can get your mind off of these worries", Satoru cooed, his voice holding such silk and honey that made a shiver travel up and down Akina's spine. She absolutely loved it when she spoke to him with his voice like that.
"Okay, I'll stop overthinking", a small smile crawled on Akina's face as she looked back at Satoru, "but you also need to stop forgetting to explain things to your students too", she teased the white haired man.
Satoru playfully pouted, "Awww, you need to stop being mean. That's my job baby", a soft menacing chuckle fell from his lips as she knew exactly what he meant.
A playful roll came from her violet colored eyes, "Yes yes, you just don't want to be topped next time do you?", she asked, hers this time hold seduction and gold clear as her desires when they were together.
"Oh baby, I'm not a bottom", he leaned in closer, his lips suddenly landing on her own. Akina couldn't help but kiss him back, she could taste the sweet flavor of the Mochi she bought earlier for breakfast along with the taiyaki. He could taste the strawberries and cherries they are earlier. It suited her, the taste of strawberries and cherries. They were so sweet yet the sour ones had a real kick, just like she did whenever you got on her bad side.
He absolutely loved the taste of her lips and the things that it lead up to later on.

Inside the elementary school, Maki and Yuta were wandering the hallways of the once innocent atmospherical building where children would usually be running and roaming around with their friends, excited to start their days but with an already empty building and the veil covering the area. It was as if it were an all too realistic setting for a horror movie.
Maki stayed silent as she walked in front Yuta, watching how the already timid boy was still covering and shaking in fear. It irritated her that he was afraid. It irritated that he would most likely hold her back during this mission that she wanted to get over and done with.
Yuta held himself in his arms, he was beyond terrified and it was shocking how the girl who walked in front of him was so unfazed by a situation like this. "Zenin-San. Aren't you at least a little bit scared of this place?", he asked, barely feeling his voice coming out as he asked the question.
"Don't use my last name", Maki ordered, seemingly showing extreme loathing to the last name she was born with.
"Uh. Sorry", Yuta apologized, "It's just, this place really gives me the creeps. It's exactly the type of place where ghosts would be". From the corner of his eyes, he easily spotted figures and shapes of the curses that laid dormant in this building. The uneasiness was becoming stronger within Yuta as he started to see more pop up.
Maki continued walking as she stayed silent. The only noises she made were the sound of her footsteps echoing from her school shoes and the marble floor that she and Yuta walked underneath and her mind as she was thinking to herself. 'There aren't many curses here even though the veils been drawn. No, they are here. They're just not attacking'
Maki's dark green hues covered by her round shaped glasses showed the curses that were either hidden or on full display at they watched the humans pass by. But they weren't afraid or not attacking because of them. There was something else that they weren't seeing.
Maki turned her eyes back at Yuta who was still jumping and panicking. 'I wonder, is it because he's here?' It was the only answer. Maybe it was because of Rika Orimoto's power hidden within Yuta.
"Ah! Something just moved!", Yuta jolted being alarmed by yet another curse.
This caused Maki to grumble in annoyance as her eyebrows furrowed. "Hey!", Maki shouted as she stopped in her tracks.
"What?", Yuta shouted back from both the fear of curses and also Maki's intimidating nature.
"What grade are you?", Maki asked, turning her head to face Yuta, this time her question wasn't to interrogate the new student but just to be answered.
However, Yuta titled his head in confusion as he didn't understand. "Uh? Like in school?"
"Jujutsu Sorcerers are ranked in grades from four to one", Maki explained briefly.
"Yeah but I only started at Jujutsu High School this week. I don't think I'm ranked yet", Yuta answered nervously, feeling his throat become dry as he felt his ignorance was going to get him killed once again by Maki's glare and sharp tongue.
The cursed tool master sighed as she face palmed, "Ugh. Forget it", turning around, she put her hand out as if she wanted to be handed something. "Show me your student ID. The one you either got from that dumb blindfolded guy or Akina-Sensei?"
Hearing the name 'Dumb Blindfolded Guy', Yuta's mind immediately went to Satoru Gojo. "Dumb Blindfolded Guy?" He was surprised he wouldn't lie. Not because Satoru Gojo wasn't receiving the most positive end of praise from his students because of his laidback nature and how he would either accidentally or purposefully forget to explain the actual important information to the students but how the students didn't see Akina Tengan the same way. Maki Zenin didn't speak her name of any degrading or lowly but rather on equal levels. She seemed to hold some respect for the sorceress.
Yuta's mind wandered to the subject as his hand wandered through the pockets of his new uniform, finally finding the student ID he was given today. "Okay, here you go", as the new student held his new student ID out for his classmate, Maki forcibly snatched it from his hand which caused him to be stunned for a moment.
"Well if you just joined, you're probably a grade four", Maki informed Yuta, her attitude remaining stern and strong but as her eyes went to the card, she was taken off guard on what she saw written.
'Special Grade?'
Everyone knew that Special Grading, whether jujutsu sorcerers or cursed spirits were even higher than Grade One. It brought her to absolute shock that Yuta had already earned himself the title. It wasn't possible for him to be at this rank so early as he had just joined.
"Zenin-San. Zenin-San! Behind you!", Yuta shouted out to his classmate, trying to alert her. While she bore an unimpressed stoic expression at first, it soon turned concerned as a large cursed spirit, bigger than what he could deal with suddenly appeared from the corners of the school. It's hands grabbing the corners of the walls, creating mass damage to the school as the walls cracked and the windows started to shatter.
It's force was enough to make the whole building crumble and throw both students in the air. While the cursed spirits noticed that it's prey was floating in the air, it took the opportunity to open its mouth to eat them.
While Yuta was in the air, screaming from fear and panic of falling and the great height he was falling from, Maki was trying her best to stay calm and composed as much as possible but it was barely as she noticed that the cursed creature was too big for her to kill.
"Shit! You're way too damn big!", Maki grunted to herself but she would take the risk anyways as she charged towards the mouth of the cursed spirit and was preparing herself to attack.
However, her efforts were futile at the cursed tool clashes against the teeth of the monster and fell outside on the ground where it was seated while she herself and her new classmate were swallowed by the cursed spirit as easily as it were a pill.
"Yum", the spirit hummed, causing smoke of satisfaction to blow from its nose. "Thank you for the meal"
˚₊‧꒰ა♥️໒꒱ ‧₊˚ -ˋˏ ༻🌹༺ˎˊ- ˚₊‧꒰ა♥️໒꒱ ‧₊˚
Inside the surprisingly hallow digestive of the cursed spirit. Maki started to angrily stomp on the ground. "Shit! I dropped my cursed tool! Let us out of here!", the Zenin girl bellowed in frustration.
Meanwhile Yuta who was knocked unconscious for a few seconds started to slowly wake up, noticing that Maki's rage and irritability grew even greater than before.
"Where are we now?", Yuta sat up on his knees, scanning the area of cursed flesh around him and Maki.
"We're stuck in this dumb curses stomach! No reason to go passing out over this!", Maki shouted at Yuta.
It took a moment for the cursed boy to process what she was saying until it hit him. "You mean that curse ate us?"
"That's right and I thought you were supposed to be protected by that curse of yours!", Maki snapped at Yuta as she pointed her finger towards him.
"Don't blame me! I have no idea what makes Rika decide to come out!", Yuta defended himself. "But what are we gonna do now?"
Maki sighed as she placed her arms on her hips, "After a while the veil will go away and help will come for us"
'The person we can rely on the most is Akina-Sensei but it would be humiliating' The Zenin girl clenched her teeth at the thought of her teacher whom she respected highly rescuing her. "Embarrassing! Shit!", she scoffed to herself.
"Please help!"
Hearing a cry of help, the two jujutsu sorcerer students attention were caught by two children who were apparently also taken by the monster.
"Who's there?"
"Please help me! My friend is about to die!"
A little boy sat in the corner of the monsters stomach, another little boy was lying his head on his lap. Yuta stayed silent for a moment as his memory was fed by the words of his teacher for his mission.
The cursed boy felt a strong sense of relief as he found the kids were alive after as seeing a dead child again would've been the start of another traumatic flashback for him. "Thank goodness, they're alive", a small smile plastered itself on his face.
"Just barely", Maki answered him, which caused him to turn his head back to her, being confused on what she meant. "Look at them closer". Following her instructions, Yuta started to see why Maki sounded concerned about the situation. The one boy who laid his friend on his heads lap was unconscious, his breath started to become more ragged as the big one above him had his eye affected by the cursed energy of the curse he was inside, his breathing was barely enough to keep him awake.
"The big one's obviously been effected by the curse too. Both of them could die at any minute"
"Oh no", Yuta not wanting to see these children die, stood up and started to run towards Maki speedily. "What do we do?", he panicked.
"I told you! All we can do is wait for help. Not everyone's like you, most people don't have resistance to curses", Maki's strong demeanor grew weaker as she could barely keep her body up straight before she collapsed to the ground. Not even having the energy to correct Yuta to not call her by her last name.
"Maki!", Yuta called out to his classmate, becoming concerned on why she suddenly collapsed until he noticed a giant gash on her leg being caused from it clashing against one of the monsters teeth when they fell into the cursed spirits mouth. But it was more unsettling to him as he noticed the eyes on the bloody wound that was starting to blink towards him.
"What kind of wound is this?", he shivered, feeling disgust from the eyes but mainly also concern for his friend. "Does this mean you're cursed now?"
"Is she? Going to die?", hearing the voice of the child who was helpless but still trying to help his friend despite being terrified, was now starting to break. "Please! I don't want to die too! Please!", the child pleaded sobs falling out of his throat, closing his eyes with tears bubbling from his cursed and healthy eye and falling down his cheeks.
Yuta's heart broke for the child, he wanted to help but he didn't know how too. "I don't know how to save you. I'm sorry", he hung his head low, apologizing to the child.
Suddenly to his surprise, his collar was grabbed his classmate who collapsed right in front of him, found the energy within her to lecture the soft hearted cursed boy. "Okkotsu! Tell me, why did you come to Jujutsu High? What is it you wanna do?", despite being on only one knee as she held up high, Maki still bared her incredible strength and fighting spirit. "What do you want? What are your goals? What are you trying to achieve?"
Yuta couldn't do anything as Maki held him in the air but all he could do right now was answer her honestly. "I just, don't wanna see anyone getting hurt again", he answered her, still with his soft spoken gentle voice that he always possessed. "I tried to lock myself away and disappear but Gojo-Sensei and Akina-Sensei warned me that I'd be too lonely and I couldn't argue with him". Flashbacks of that day where Akina and Satoru talked to Yuta flashed his mind, how they convinced him to not shut himself away from the world, that his curse could be a blessing to others. Could help others too if he learnt how to wield it properly.
Yuta clenched his teeth and furrowed his eyes before he continued explaining his answer to Maki, "I don't want to be all alone! I want to be needed by someone! I want it to be alright! To know that I'm alive", his eyes started to become glossy as he carried his truth. His hearts truest finally heard by the one he wanted to be listened to the most.
"Fine then, do it then" Maki's voice became softer and lower as she listened to Yuta's answer to her questions. This caused the cursed boy's eyes to widen. "Keep exorcising curses over and over again! And when you get good at it, confidence and friends will find you! That's why we're here, at Jujutus High", Maki lifted her head, showing a determined and fierce expression that matched her personality.
Yuta could feel himself suddenly making sense of her words. What she was saying, maybe she was right. With just time and getting not only used to your job as a jujutsu sorcerer but as a person too, things will fall into place. People will need him. People will want to be with him. People won't be attacked by Rika's curse anymore.
Maki collapsed once again, this time losing all of the energy she could muster to lecture Yuta Okkotsu. Her hand fell, accidentally making two of the top buttons of Yuta's new uniform jacket become undone revealing the dark blue t-shirt he was wearing underneath.
No more. No more helplessness. No more running away. He knew he had to call her. His love.
His hand gripped around the chain he was wearing that bared the engagement ring Rika once gifted to him years ago on his birthday.
"Rika"
"Yes Yuta?", the cursed spirit answer, this time using the voice she once possessed when she was still human.
The boy, connected by her curse started to slip the ring onto his right ring finger. "Lend me your strength", once the ring was on his finger and the command was issued, it was time for a blood bath to be spilled.
˚₊‧꒰ა♥️໒꒱ ‧₊˚ -ˋˏ ༻🌹༺ˎˊ- ˚₊‧꒰ა♥️໒꒱ ‧₊˚
Outside of the curses body, where it just laying dormant waiting another another prey to hunt attack, started to suddenly writhe in pain until the cursed spirit known as Rika Orimoto suddenly found its way out of it's body, popping from its gut.
A loud ear piercing shriek echoed as the cursed spirit looked at its opponent. "Who are you?"
However Rika didn't answer its question as her clawed hand grabbed its head, letting out another deadly scream as it tore its head off of its body. "That's enough out of you!", the raging cursed spirit bellowed before she continued tearing up the cursed spirit.
The shrieks of anger and disgust soon turned into giggly giggle fits as Rika started to have fun tearing up the cursed spirit that dared to eat her Yuta as he started to make his escape while carrying Maki and the two children out of the building despite being exhausted.

Akina Tengan and Satoru Gojo stood behind the veil, deciding to carry on their antics a bit later so they could take their students and the children back when their mission was over. However, behind the veil that Satoru set up, large droplets of blood from the cursed spirit started to taint the clear black walls.
"Well, it looked like Rika is a valuable asset on our side", Akina mused as she watched the bloody show.
"That's terrifying", Satoru commented. "Rika Orimoto at her strongest, impressive special grade curse. So scary", he softly chuckled the last part to himself.
Akina sweat dropped, "Yeah, it looks like we'll have to keep Rika dormant for some time", she agreed. However, the subject of the cursed spirit was fascinating to her but both teachers understood that they had to keep Rika docile for sometime just like the boy she was attached too.
With a bit of time passed by, the veil had eventually ascended and now the whole scene was visible to the two most powerful jujutsu sorcerers. The sorceress's eyes widened in horror as she noticed the state of her students while her blindfolded coworker bore a natural expression.
"Welcome back. You did well", Satoru praised the two students who were now laying on the ground of either exhaustion or the cursed wound that effected the children too. The mission was a success and the children and Maki were brought to a hospital to have their wounds treated and to rest for the time being. It was going to get more difficult from now on and during days, it was going get busier and even more bloody than before.
