We take time for granted
for we have never experienced
the end of it
but the only thing that is certain
is that it is coming

Accidents happen in seconds
and right now
cancer cells could be spreading in your body
what matters now
could be gone in the next moment

We built our lives so carefully
and conveniently forget
how easily things are broken
but i cannot help but think
that it is this uncertainty

That makes life so fascinating
and worth living.
