OC POV

⇥𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮  watching the waves crash onto the rocks from on top of the titan's tower. The wind carried the strong aroma of sea salt around me, and I taking in the strong odour. My hair blew back. My teammates were currently training in the room with holographic figures. I hardly ever trained, never needed to. I found the titans 6 months ago, or perhaps it was almost 7, I wasn't really an official titan even though the rest of the team treated me like one. I never said my name, I just said to them 'I might or I don't have one'. Now the team are trying to figure my name out, which drives Gar crazy. I remember Gar and Jamie making a bet whoever figures out my name has to do everything for the other person for a whole month. Now they call me whatever, I don't care to be honest. I kind of find it funny, or more of like a tradition of a sort. Raven and I grew to be close friends since we're the only girls besides Starfire, whom was significantly older than us. Starfire is more like a mother to all of us, she's kind and thoughtful.

No one knew about my past, no one ever asked and even if someone did I wouldn't tell them. I was a good listener. Everyone found it easy to talk to me about their problems cause I would always put myself in their shoes. I gazed down at the waves once more and then I snapped

Flashback

A blurry figure without a face holds a stopwatch timing how long 7-year-old kids can hold their breath. The last among them was the younger version of me. She finally couldn't take it any longer and I went back up to the surface where the other kids were waiting at the edge of the pool.

The woman stopped the watch and gave a decent smile. "Well done ---, 1 hour and 15 seconds,"

They dried off and then all stood in a line. Two balky men came in and grabbed a girl with pigtails and pushed her onto the ground in front of the woman who held a gun on her left hand.

"You survived for less than 30 minutes, we can only have the strongest," she aimed the Glock at her as the young girl screamed in fear. BANG! The remaining girls watched the horrible sight before them. Blood poured down her forehead and then soon her mouth.

Flashback ends

"The new teammate is here," I hear Starfire say.

"Oh, okay," I come and walk along with Starfire who already gathered up the rest who were waiting for our new teammate. In the distance, we hear the sound of the batmobile where we see Nightwing jump out with the new Robin carrying his stuff hop out too.

"Starfire," Nightwing shakes Starfire's hand.

"Nightwing, it's been a while," She says. Oh, this is going to be good.

"I know, you looking good," yeah dick it's not like you had a past relationship with her. I wonder what happened?

"This is Damian, the new robin," he says. I look at the new robin, he had black raven hair, somewhat olive skin from what I can see. And a sharp jaw- wait stop what the hell am I doing. Stop this instanced.

"Welcome Damian, would you like to-" Starfire is interrupted

"I think I can manage," he walks past up. Without anyone seeing he puts teeny tiny trackers on them. Smart. As he walks through the door I take mine off and break it. But the thing he didn't realise that I put a tracker on him.

"That is one creepy morcoso," Jamie says

"More like sad," Raven says

I was currently watching Damian fighting the holographic robots. He's not bad. "He hasn't stopped for an hour and a half," Jamie says

"Damian, it's time for others to have there turn," Starfire asks nicely.

"I'm not finished," Damian says while slicing the holographic robots.

Then I see Jamie turn off the bots. "Gee how that happen?" he says. Then He throws a Batarang him but I catch before with between my two-fingers before it reaches him.

"Dude, What da hell?!" Jamie ask angrily

"I heard your tech is fast, it seems like you need a girl to save you," he smirks.

"Don't mess with us little man," he walks to him.

"Ahem," I cock an eyebrow at Jamie

"Oh, and thank you," he says to me.

"Alright," Starfire separates them. "I see we started on the-. Um, wrong foot?" She tries to say. "Damian, this is a team effort. You need to be ready to accommodate others,"

"Nightwing said you were a princess," Damian said as he put his katana away. "exiled no doubt,"

"technically it was a coup. And like it or not I am the leader of this group,"

"As I see it you're an alien with nowhere else to go," Damian says

"Everyone needs a home Damian, you included," Raven says

"Thanks for chiming in witch girl," he spits back

"We are only here to realise your potential," Starfire says, a bit more strictly

"You've been here long enough, when do you think you'll realise yours?" He furrows his eyebrows

"Dude, show some respect," Jamie puts his hand on his shoulder but then Damian puts him in an armlock then pushing him.

"oh no," Raven says

"ready when you are," Damian takes his katana out.

They then strike at each other. Damian easily dodging his attacks.

"Who's fighting you or the bug?" he asks

"You better hope it's me," Jamie grunts. Jamie's scarab then launches some robotic tentacles but Damian flips over then trows explosive batarangs which launches Jamie back. Damian then walks up to him. "That's the difference between you and me. You wear a weapon, I am one,"

But suddenly his scarab powers up. I run towards them pushing Damian out of the way. From then on everything turns black.

Raven's POV

OC takes the hit which leaves her unconscious. I hear Starfire crying out a no, we all rush towards her. Damian's face is in complete fear and guilt. "I didn't mean-" Jamie says worryingly

"Move, I can heal her," I say. I lay my hands next to her head.

As I say the words I'm inside her mind. I couldn't see anything, then a blinding light shines. Then I see a baby girl on the side of the road next to the sea. It must be her, but she had the purest aquamarine/teal eyes I've ever seen, instead of her dark brown ones. It had a name on it but it was blurred. The rest was blurred moments of her life I couldn't see. It was like she wouldn't let me see them. She then wakes up, slowly opening her eyes.

"What happened?" she says weakly.

"Raven healed you," Starfire says

"Thank you," she says

"No problem," I smile

OC POV

I feel slight dizziness in my brain. I then snap

Flashback

"Wake up girls," Madame Malum says walking down the pathways between the beds.

The Ladies then unlock our electrical cuffs from each hand to the poles of the bed.

Flashback ends

"Mysterioso?" Jamie says to me

"Are you alright?" Starfire asks

"Yeah," I rub my head, "I think I'm just going to rest," I say

"okay," Starfire says then I head to my room.

I lay on my bed, Raven couldn't get in. It was just like they said.

Flashback

I lie on a stretcher with surrounding surgeons and Madame Mallus. "This is a necessary part of the program, you will undergo phase 1, we will be the only ones with access to your memories,"

I pass by younger girls and boys but their faces were all a blur. They did the surgery with my brain, with futuristic instruments that they would play with my brain.

Flashback ends

They would put false memories in my brain. One of them was me playing on a piano, playing Moonlight Sonata no.3. Sometimes I didn't know what memories where real or not. The only ones I can tell that was real was my childhood in the black room or in project DeathNote.

Then I hear a knock at the door. "Come in," I say. Raven then sat at the side of my bed, I sit up to make eye contact with her.

"When I was um healing you, I was also inside your mind. I would usually see the person's past but with you, everything was a blur. I couldn't see anything except you, as a baby. Abounded by the side of the road right next to the sea," she says

"I-, as a child I didn't know anything about my past. All I can say that I was given false memories, so I don't know what's real and what's not, but the baby one, that might be real," I half-lie it

"Oh," Raven says. "But still, I should still see more than that,"

"It goes deeper than that," I say

"Okay. The baby one. Your eyes, when you were a baby. They were an aqua colour. Like the sea. But with green in it so more like a teal colour," she says

"That one, that one is true. From what I know I did have really teal eyes," I look down.

"So, why are they brown?" she asks

"Maybe I'll tell you when I'm ready," I say

"It's okay, I understand," she says "Get some rest," she smiles then leaves. As she reaches the door she stops. "Oh, and I know what to call you now,"

"What is it?" I ask

"Aqua. The colour of your eyes and the Latin word for water is aqua. Can I call you that?" Raven asks over her shoulder

"Sure, I don't mind," I say.
