with chiselled and defined features that never fail to catch someone's eye, eva is a guy to look out for. his smile radiates warmness and his eyes never fail to sparkle with that enviable and arguably fleeting childlike wonder under the sunlight, making eva look like the most innocent ray of sunshine to ever grace the world. standing at an admirable 6'0", eva is nothing short of a gentle giant, tall yet inviting and most definitely warm. his defined cheekbones and sharp jawline are to die for, and those light hazel irises in those wide hooded eyes of his leave you speechless. his sculpted facial features make eva look quite intimidatingly mature, no doubt, but the instant that smile of his crawls its way towards those lips, you'll be left with a human puppy. his rustic chestnut brown fluffy-looking hair only adds to the soft factor, being styled as quite the messy yet natural look. those sharp angular eyebrows of his make him look all the more dramatic when he expresses his emotions, and his lean athletic build developed from forging glass and fencing for years is nothing short of  impressive.

overview  ──  eva might be one to create strong emotional attachments over a short period of time, but he tends to toss around the words "I love you" a lot more than he should. he doesn't exactly know what sexual desires are or feel like because of his sheltered life, nor does he understand the weight of such feelings. he doesn't feel sexual attraction and romantic attraction until he fully knows a person ( and until he learns the actual meaning of love 🔫 not just care and affection ) and has spent months, even years spending time with them. since eva is an affectionate person, he will most likely deny and brush off such romantic feelings until he realises, 'wow. I really like them.' and not in a platonic way ( smh ), and even so, he will be completely honest about his feelings, to the point that it might be a bit too upfront ( but we stan confident men ).

a blinding ray of sunshine - that is how any person would describe this boy. with one simple flash of a smile, eva can light up anyone's day. being a very cheerful guy, eva isn't a very serious person, typically being quite the laid-back individual that doesn't really pay any mind to his surroundings. he radiates those chill summery vibes, you know? he's not one for being pouty and grumpy — no, he finds that being saddened by something is only a waste of his time and energy. with that being said, eva is quite the social butterfly as well, able to blend in with almost any type of crowd. it's no problem for a guy like him to go out and have a conversation with the person lurking in the corner of the room, for eva finds it satisfying to see a radiant smile just like the one etched upon his lips blossom upon one's features. he's childish and he knows it, using that sort of charm to his advantage. jittery and always eager to move, eva can easily be recognised as a hyperactive ball of sunshine ready to brighten your day!

as a kid who had grown up in nephelheim, one of the most disciplined and calm kingdoms, you'd expect eva to be the epitome of politeness, right? wrong. eva is a person that doesn't know restraint, being very much opinionated and bubbly. he has a mouth and he won't hesitate to use it to blurt some random weird fact out just because he can, and don't expect him to stop and be normal. no, he's far from a normal human being — he's ultimately that one guy who everyone unanimously agree to call the person without brain cells because that's who he is. he's not particularly loud, per se, but it's more about how he's always thinking about the weirdest, most random stuff and he's not going to keep it to himself once his thoughts take over. his head is always in the clouds, thinking and thinking about how long a painted wall gets to dry, how ants move when they don't have blood, etcetra. he can't help the natural curiosity that comes to his head, the strangeness of his thought process that asks more and more of him every second. weird is a good way to describe him when put with a group of people. indeed, he's quite the child as well, being the second youngest of the group. clingy and a bit of a brat, this guy loves attention, and he isn't afraid to make it known that he's attention-deprived from his friends. he's an adorable anomaly, probably one of those people who actually believe that area 51 is where the government would run illegal tests on aliens ( "tHoSe pOoR aLiEns dEsErvE tO bE tReAtEd aS hUmAns—" ) and you can never really seem to read his thoughts because they're all so scattered, but that's his charm.

he might come off as a goody-two-shoes who wouldn't dare break a rule or two, but don't fall for the politeness. eva is one to cause a little bit of mischief, being brutally honest and not caring about what anyone else thinks. being a little bit rebellious, eva is a person that wont hesitate to do things to get what he wants either. he says what he wants to, no matter how idiotic it sounds, no matter how many people judge him, and no matter how many people disagree — all that matters is that he wanted to ask or say something, and that he thought it was important, so it is. innocent and honestly 100% pure, eva is a person that is always looking on the bright side, despite the fact that he may not believe what he's saying. he's a very bubbly person in general and seems to never be without a smile on his face and views the world in a childlike manner, literally taking the "the world is our playground" phrase a bit too far. some people can label him as foolish or deranged because of his strange thinking-process, but that's not all that there is to this boy. believe it or not, eva is easily one of the smartest of the bunch — academically, that is. he's the type of person that wouldn't be willing to give up until he's tried something a thousand times, working hard to achieve his goals. counting and numbers have always been something solid that he was able to rely on, and he likes the reliability they give him. one second he could be rambling on and on about a silly thought that crossed his mind a while ago, and the other, he could be talking about how the sun will blow up someday and the milky way will merge with the andromeda galaxy. don't underestimate his smarts — his brain is there, alright, just not completely serious about life. he prefers to dwell in the present and rather not look at the past, constantly pushing forward blindly.

he gets very passionate about things which explains his constant craving to watch cheesy dramas, rom-coms and such, and sometimes he may come off as a bit too eccentric about he things he loves, but that's what makes eva. . . well, eva, and no one can change that about him. naïve and very much sheltered from the world, eva is constantly craving to go out and interact with people — he wants to see the world because nothing has ever satiated his unending curiosity, and he's very insistent when he knows what he wants. he may act all goody-goody, but don't believe that he won't revel every once in a while to get what he wants. yes, he is indeed selfish and would do things to make himself feel good, even if it goes against the rules. he's a hopeless romantic as well, being quite the easy person to swoon. he's so innocent you wouldn't believe it — it's fairly easy to manipulate him into doing anything you want him to because he honestly doesn't know what toxicity is and people take advantage of him for that. he thinks quite highly of himself, though he's not too narcissistic, and he knows what he's capable of doing. he's confident in his skills ( though he may not look like it ) and easily goes with the flow, having a mind that can easily absorb and withdraw information. he may be a bit of a brat sometimes, but that doesn't mean he can't think maturely and doesn't care about anything in life — he simply chooses to avoid such deep topics and keep it light-hearted as reassurance. with that being said, even some situations aren't revivable, and during those times, eva feels quite cornered. when speaking about something very serious, eva tries to avert the topic, not liking the thoughts that come to his head when thinking about the bad things that could happen, and he doesn't realise that sometimes he just needs to face the problem. he keeps it inside for as long as he can because worrying anyone else isn't comfortable for him — they're going through more pain than he is, so he doesn't want to be there and obstruct their view. he's a boy that's bright and full of sunshine, and he'd like to keep it that way and make people laugh instead of facing the reality he's made for himself. when uncomfortable, he usually stays silent — quite the anomaly for a guy like him. however, it can't be helped, can it?

━━ background ;

there's not much to say about eva's backstory. he was born and raised in nephelheim, and as a kid, he was sheltered from the outside world by his parents. they literally are the epitome of strict asian parents — they wouldn't let him play outside unless he was under direct supervision by one of their nannies it them, and even so, he'd only be allowed outside for a couple of hours at a time. they kept a close monitor on who his friends were and who his friends' parents were so they could ensure he wasn't interacting with the wrong crowd and even as he grew up — needless to say that eva was very, very unexposed to normal social interaction for a good period of his life. his mother and father were of wealthy households and held high positions in the monarch as well, one being a former minister of affairs ( his father ) and the other being the reigning queen of mephelheim ( his mother ), meaning they expected highly of their son as well. unknowingly, they'd become very distant to their son throughout the years, limiting his interactions with the entire outside world but never really attending to his needs whenever they were at home as they were too exhausted from their long days at work. they'd move from place to place fairly often as well, causing eva to lose friends just as quickly as he were to gain them. as a kid who was basically cooped up at home, eva had to learn to entertain himself, and he'd do that by binge-watching any sort of show, wether it be those silly rom-coms you could find on television that the old people liked or anime. growing up, the only really stable things in life he could rely on were the following: his favourite tv shows, his nannies, and his grades. he found stability in getting 90s and As, reassurance in counting these numbers laid out in front of him on a piece of paper. it was sort of therapeutic for him to get these good grades and solve these math equations, and he soon came to love the subject and achieving good grades in general as they were something that made his parents finally acknowledge him and pay attention to him. it was the only way to make them stop and look at him, to make them actually spend quality time with eva, which is quite sad, but it is what it is.

friends came and went. eva learned how to easily adapt to his environment and socialise fairly quickly, finding it easy to talk to people and converse. he is particularly talented in the language department, being quite the charming young lad despite the fact that he was pretty oblivious and too innocent for his own good. it was easy to make people trust him and form bonds, but it became just as easy to lose those bonds and break them apart in a matter of seconds. people had started to realise it was easy to take advantage of a guy like him who simply wanted attention and someone to be happy with in return for anything else that he could offer them, therefore it was a matter of time before everyone started going to him for help. "eva, can you do my homework? I don't understand number 3." "eva, can you vouch for me? I don't want to be in class and you wouldn't want me to be unhappy, would you?" eva had no intention of saying no to these people, and he couldn't exactly bring himself to say the word to deny them of their help, so he did anything anyone asked, so long as they gave him enough attention and brought him company. even as he grew up, the whole process was just a rinse and repeat, and his parents weren't very aware of such things. eva became a little bit rebellious he more he was forced to deal with his parents' constant overprotective-ness and restrictions, and that lead to eva wanting to see the outside world more and more. he was a very curious boy and he knew that the only way he'd be able to finally get what he wanted is if he worked even harder to achieve better things and eventually run away from his parents. he'd show them — he'd show them that he would be able to achieve anything without them breathing down his neck. his parents didn't like this new side of eva at all, and so they decided to send him off to this school so he would be shaped into the proper king of nephelheim they all expect him to be, despite his distress and discontent with the idea.

in a modern setting, eva was a very privileged child with obsessive and overprotective parents. they wanted to shape him, to mold him into he best person he could be to contribute to the world, completely disregarding his own feelings and wants. he had his duty as their child to be absolutely perfect — that meant no frolicking around in the outside world with all the other common people, no playing for long periods of time for fear that he would fall behind on his studies, and being watched over by nannies almost 24/7. funny thing was that though his parents locked him away from the world for his own good, they never did spend time with him to play and talk, no matter how much he begged for them to take a break. their duties came first, eva came second. his sister, however, did not experience this, and so eva and estella's unspoken hatred blossomed. one was fueled by jealousy and misunderstanding of the situation, the other was fueled by spite and hatred of being compared to a person she knew was above her academically. it all led to the same effects — eva became too sheltered and oblivious to the outside world, made him absolutely deprived for attention and starved for validation, and so here he is now in all his glory, stepping into the world blindly with no destination in sight ( but literally because he can't see that well without his glasses— ).

━━ family ;

king adamus  ──  the current reigning king of nephelheim. eva is not particularly close with his father, seeing as his father is constantly busy with kingdom politics and such, however, they do get along and have a normal father-son relationship. his father is not particularly harsh on him and sets no expectations on him ( unlike a few other people in his family ), so they are pretty neutral in terms of relationship and have the occasional bonding time when he's not too busy.

queen silvia  ──  the reigning queen of nephelheim. now, here's where things get interesting. queen silvia is the one who actually bears the virga name, having married king adamus quite a while ago. she was the one with royal blood and heritage — not adamus. therefore, her forms of upbringing were much more different and intense than adamus. she wants eva to excel at everything she has excelled in — mannerisms, kingdom history, politics, etcetera. she wants him to be shaped into the best possible kind of ruler imaginable, and so she continuously pushes him to participate in royal politics and such. their relationship is sort of business-only — she'll teach him the ropes and he'll make her proud. queen silvia places all these expectations of eva becoming the king of nephelheim upon his shoulders despite the constant and over very vocal denial that eva has been trying to say to her, and it breaks him apart to know that she never really spends time with him as a mother, but rather as a queen.

princess estella  ──  princess estella is eva's little sister, only being separated by two years. however, there is a clear difference between eva and estella. estella is much more spoiled than eva is — she's not doing very well in classes and her courses and therefore, the queen herself teaches and guides estella so that she can actually do something productive. hence, yes, eva is jealous of her at times, okay? they bicker a lot as estella is even more childish and bratty than he is, and at times, eva feels like estella is only there to spite him. he doesn't usually show any other emotion other than happiness, but whenever he's with estella, he can't help but feel the thorns of jealousy claw on his heart. he feels as if she gets much more attention from their mother and he wants a part of that attention, even though he might not need it as much as she does — hence this sort of unspoken sibling rivalry.

positivity ── honestly, who doesn't? eva is a bright kid who rarely finds a reason to have his mood dampened. he's determined to make everyone smile at least once and thrives in happy situations, where he can express his love and care for everyone outwardly without having to restrain himself. when others are happy, eva is happy too - he soaks up the positive emotions like a sponge, then projects them onto everyone else to boost the mood. The more affectionate you are to him, the more affection he returns to you!

generally nice people ── eva loves meeting people that ( seemingly ) share his views about treating people with respect and care. good vibes only! as someone who has a very strong moral compass and radiates chaotic good energy, eva thinks that every individual has equal rights and deserves respect until proven otherwise. in conclusion, he loves people who are nice to him ( also maybe because he didn't have any friends back in nephelheim so he's craving for any form of attention but we don't talk about that xoxo ), end of story.

sweets ── sweets!!! ah, eva absolutely adores sweet things, whether it be sweet people, sweet candy, or sweet fruits. the kid's got a massive sweet tooth. he wasn't exactly allowed to eat too much candy ( or unhealthy sweets in general ) as a child, so when he discovers the delectable treat that is a sugary confectionery, he's bound to get addicted to the taste of that much granulated sugar wrapped in a little plastic wrapper.

the sky ── no, not nephelheim - the sky. eva adores viewing the sky from below instead of walking on the clouds, looking down upon those who dwell the land. he finds it as a reminder of his temporary freedom from his royal duties ( and he might miss the royal palace just a liiiiiitle bit ) and a place to find familiarity and solitude when things get tough, as even the sun sets, but the sky will always be the constant that blankets over the world and wraps around him.

freedom ── i'll be dxmned if a free spirit like eva didn't crave for the feeling of being cut loose from earthly ties. sadly, it's his title that anchors him to the sky. as much as eva sympathises and cares for the people of his kingdom, he doesn't find much joy in viewing nephelheim as his kingdom or the kingdom that he rules over. he longs for the day he can simply sit in a field alone, enveloped in the glades of grass, eyes transfixed upon the sky above as he listens to the silent whispers of the summer breeze. but alas, freedom will have to wait - he is a prince, after all.

aesthetic value ── or rather, anything that looks pretty to eva, eva likes. it's not a rare occasion to feel eva drag you by the hand to see anything interesting that he thought he should share with you. whether it be something as trivial as a pretty butterfly's wings fluttering in the wind or a glass mozaic he came across while touring the perimeter, eva loves anything that looks remotely shiny and even girly things such as jewels, tiaras, etcetra. to him, gender roles do not matter. if something seems interesting or beautiful to him, he wants it.

making friends ── did you cringe reading that? well, as stupid as it sounds, eva thinks that everyone can get along, and therefore, he loves making and establishing platonic relationships. he's the type of person that tries to find a little bit of good in everybody, probably even in those who don't deserve redemption, and he likes seeing a person smile back at him with a smile even brighter than his own.

━━ dislikes ;

neglect ── looks like he has experience with it ( lol ). eva wants eyes on him, and if you could spare at least a minute of your time to talk to him, he would be more than pleased. purposely ignoring him not only makes him even more pushy towards you, but hurts his already sensitive feelings, stirring his own negative thoughts about himself and causing him to jump to brash conclusions. imagine him like a. . . lost puppy who just wants a little head pat every morning before his owner heads to work.

serious situations ── ah, something that isn't in eva's skillset. eva, while being an insightful boy, isn't exactly the best at a confrontation, nor is he suited for an argument. at best, he would try to calm the two sides down, seeing as he only wants for everyone to agree and work together instead of butting heads, but he seldom expresses these kinds of concerns to others, especially during the heat of the moment. instead, he hangs in the back, keeping his head down low and tuning out the quarreling voices, like he would do so long ago when chastised by his parents.

his sister ── a whole section dedicated to his very own sister? how wonderful! let's review. his sister has been able to achieve every single thing that eva has slaved for ever since he was a child - his mother's care and attention, an escape from being the heir to the throne, and a life loosely restricted with a lot more room to bend the rules - and she has done so without much trouble, unlike her older brother who's practically set up for failure, considering his personality traits.

things that don't go his way ── eva is childish, meaning that he doesn't fare very well when life swerves the other way and makes him change his plans. no, that won't do at all. as much as he longs to simply hand his title over to someone more competent than him, it brings him many benefits and a good life, as well as the power to regulate things according to the way he wants. everything is perfect in la-la land, and that means that eva doesn't settle for anything that doesn't suit his expectations, which is quite fatal of him, as he is expected to be a crown prince with a cool head and unfazeable composure, but here we are now.

negativity ── not everything is sunshine and rainbows - as much as eva knows that, he likes to turn a blind eye to certain things ( certain things being. . . well, everything that's wrong with the world, but we don't talk about that <3 ), especially subjects that concern people being unhappy. eva soaks up emotions like a sponge, as said before. when others are happy, he projects his own happiness into the mix, and when people are sad, he shuts his mouth and becomes mellow, eyes averting anyone else in the room.

insects ── there are a few special exceptions to this general dislike of his ( e.g. butterflies, bees ), but insects are absolutely terrifying to someone like eva. when i say terrifying, i mean that eva will not hesitate to hide behind your back when one comes near, mumbling about how they have frightening little legs and eyes that are way too big for their body proportions, making him shiver in a mixture of grim fear and disgust.

violence ── as much as eva is a skilled fighter, he is no brute that seeks chaos. he wants peace, nothing more. he will only fight when required to do so and typically avoids physical confrontation, instead choosing to ( probably ) talk it out and end disputes with a hug. hurting people hurts eva, in a way.

━━ strengths ;

optimist ── there's literally nothing else in eva's head except good vibes. he's truly that one anime protagonist that simply believes in himself and the rest of the team, knowing that he can rely on them and make things turn out for the better, which often gives reassurance to those who have less faith in themselves. viewing life as a sort of fun game that they're all currently playing, eva doesn't dwell on the consequences of something, instead stepping blindly ahead by listening to the sound of his heart.

social butterfly ── it's no secret that eva loves socialising with people. he generally gets along with others fairly well, especially since his warm and fuzzy attitude is absolutely infectious, though there are those people who prefer to talk about him behind his back. but does he really mind? no, not really. he's just glad to make people smile. hopping from one group of friends to another, eva learned how to adapt to new situations fairly quickly, including the instance where he needs to find new peers to interact with.

bold ── eva speaks when he wants to and what he wants to - there is no restriction nor restraint in his words. what he says is truly from the heart and his honest opinion, and he's not afraid to be disliked if it really comes to that. no one can change his opinion of the world ( oh really? ), and he doesn't exactly know the meaning of watching what you say, seeing as he never was cautious of his words and speaks according to his gut instinct.

quick learner ── eva isn't as airheaded as he comes off to be. in fact, he's quite the contender when it comes to academics and lessons. your first impression of him might be that of another cute little karen, but eva has some tricks up his sleeve, ones that might just sweep you off your feet if you're not careful. he's not the crown prince of a kingdom without reason - he absorbs and interprets things easily, letting the knowledge sink in.

agility, enhanced physical abilities ── eva is a flexible fighter. as someone who had grown up forging glass and as a fencer, he was expected to be lean and athletic, as well as resourceful. eva is light on his feet - as expected of someone who dwells among the clouds - and very much skilled in the art of fencing ( as well as using those metal fans as weapons, though it was never supported by his parents because those were too feminine <3 ), so one can conclude that his physical abilities are better than the average human being's. his body is also acclimated to harsh climates and low oxygen levels, which makes him quite the durable soldier.

theory ── eva excels at doing things in theory! studying, concepts, mind maps - he's very skilled in memorisation and academics. however, when doing them in practice, he may find that the results aren't going to be achieved by following the rules stated in the book to a T. . .

━━ weaknesses ;

naive and gullible ── i mean, spending your time locked away in a palace like rapunzel for the last 14-15 years of his life tells you something about eva's personality. shielded, oblivious, and cheerful, eva is the perfect pray to master manipulators seeking for someone easy to influence and shape to their own needs and wants. eva doesn't believe that there's a single human being that would want to take advantage of someone, especially him, for personal reasons, and not tell him ( he's stupid, i know <3 ) about it. thanks to this mindset, eva gets wrapped up in many, many problems that he probably could've avoided had he hung out with the right crowd of people, but the boy ought to know the true colours of the world.

inexperienced and impulsive ── you think this boy's ever gone outside of nephelheim and stepped foot on solid ground? no , no he has not, and he is perfectly fine with that. he's so eager to learn and see all of these new things that it often hinders his judgement, making him rush into things and disregard actually thinking before he acts. his lack of knowledge about the world will be one of his ultimate downfalls if he's not careful, seeing as many would jump at the chance to feed him lies about the outside world.

avoids major confrontation ── he hates disputes. eva doesn't see the point in disagreements and would much rather shape himself to accommodate for both parties instead of see people rip each other apart. he likes to pretend that nothing happened, that no one's fighting - it's his own defense mechanism which enables him to keep feeling happy and being optimistic for his own good. however, he can't escape confrontation for long, and he'll soon find that the reality of the situation requires him to face it head-on instead ( but pfft as if that's gonna happen- ).

dwells in the present ── as aforementioned, eva is a person that prefers to stay happy and turn a blind eye towards certain things that don't fit in the image of his own little world, and that includes responsibilities. eva has never thought much about his future - he didn't want to be a prince, nor did he want to be a king, but here he was. he dislikes the pressure to constantly be this perfect little prince. can't they give him a break? he just wants to be happy. thinking of the future makes him feel. . . strange. so he simply doesn't think :) only good vibes!!!

blunt and annoying ── let me be frank; eva is annoying. some can't stand his constant positivity and need to smile, nor do they appreciate his efforts to lighten up the mood. he's very much physical with his affection and he's not afraid to display it to the world, and others may not feel comfortable with that. he's also not afraid to speak his mind - he doesn't really understand the distinction between things that should and shouldn't be said ( as in, common social etiquette ) and will often blurt out things that can earn a raised eyebrow from the rest of the bunch.

much too hopeful for his own good ── this poor, poor boy. eva believes in redemption - there's good in everyone, you just have to dig deeper and find it. it is this mindset that gets him tangled in the web of lies, trapped in toxic relationships. he clings on to the false, happy memories and refuses to accept the reality - a deadly and very much fatal combination, when shoved into the real world without supervision. let's hope he survives out there.

━━ habits ;

fiddling with his fingers ── when he's feeling particularly anxious, eva is prone to playing with his fingers and even swaying his legs sporadically because of his constant need to move and do an action, whether he does so unconsciously or on purpose to distract him from negative thoughts.

resting a hand on his cheek ── he complains that his head feels too heavy at times so his hand needs to be lifted upwards for support, which is why you often find him doing his homework with his cheek propped upon his open palm, hazel eyes glazed as it focuses on the tiny printed text on the pages.

shifting his centre of balance ── you'll often see eva shift his balance from one foot to another subconsciously to entertain himself and keep himself moving, especially when he's standing up because he never seems to stand completely still.

spacing out ── eva's mind is all over the place, to be honest. he - quite literally - has his head up in the clouds. often times you can find him drifting off into space, hazy eyes sparkling with curiosity as his train of thought goes wild.

biting the inside of his mouth ── just to stop himself from talking, he might bite the inside of his mouth. granted, this isn't the best habit to have, but it's still one that he hasn't quite shaken off despite all the scolding he's gotten from his etiquette teachers.

entomophobia ── the fear of insects. mild and overall tolerable, but still majorly freaks him out.

athazagoraphobia ── the fear of being ignored, forgotten, and/or abandonment.

━━ medical conditions ;

eva is a perfectly healthy human being! in fact, his physical agility and overall flexibility is better than the average human being's, along with his endurance and stamina from fencing - he might be a little too healthy. however, it is worthy to note that his body has acclimated to the harsh, cold climate of nephelheim, along with the thin atmosphere of said kingdom upon the mountain tops, which means that his body has adapted to regulating using the scarce amounts of oxygen you could possibly inhale in the freezing air. the pressure changes when he first steps foot on land would cause him a major headache and a whole bunch of problems, if he isn't careful, and that mess would open a whole new can of worms. with that being said, if he were to travel back to nephelheim suddenly after spending more than a week's time on the solid ground, he'll suffer from the unfortunate repercussion of what was stated earlier, as his body would need even more time to get used to the climate again, though he's lived in such an environment for a good ¾ of his whole life.

nephili  ──  the mother tongue of
                nephelheim. it is

   nymphs.    

the ancient language of nephili is mandatory for any nephilite to master. however, this language is not very commonly used outside of nephelheim, seeing as only the nephlim actually use this language. it's a strange mixture of nymphaean languages, being completely non-understandable if you hadn't studied any sort of nymphaean language. they typically use the vocabularies of the cloud nymphs which would be a mixture of the greek and latin languages, but with the addition of a few words that the nephilim decided to use. overall, it's quite the boring language, and it's not very popular outside of the city of clouds, so you wouldn't catch eva using this language very much. the rules of the language are pretty simple, following the english sentence pattern of subject + verb. however, it has many, many words long forgotten from history and is ultimately a language that is impractical since no one speaks it outside of nephelheim.

nebulus  ──  the language of the

the nephilim had passed down this ancient language for generations, teaching their young the language that would unlock their powers as the nephilim. they manipulate weather by literally talking to the clouds using this language. not much is known about it in the outside world, but it is fairly popular among nephilim to learn this language as they are the ones in charge of running the four seasons and weather correctly. eva in particular has taken a liking to this language because he has a pet cloud he brings around with him everywhere he calls puffy, and because of that, he communicates to puffy using the nebulus language on a daily basis. it's a mixture of strange whistles and wind-blowing sounds, really, but one wrong pitch and you're insulting all clouds and they won't exactly be happy.

english  ──  the international

eva, as the prince and heir of nephelheim, had to learn the english language at an early age, seeing as he was going to be in charge of making political alliances and communicating his ideas to the outside world, though nephelheim is relatively isolated from the other kingdoms. he's fluent in english and prefers to use english in his day-to-day conversations as he sees nephili as a quite outdated way of speaking and doesn't favour the language as much as english. he himself excels at the language and enjoys speaking with it, as he feels that the language connects him and the rest of the world beyond the cloud-filled skies he wants to be in and see so badly. eva has a perfectly fine accent, being able to enunciate words correctly just like any other native speaker as he has practised his english his whole life as a prince.

crystal animation  ──  eva's power is quite the unique one, you see. he is able to manipulate and create objects from crystals such as glass with a simple whistle. he can bring them to life, so long as he has the right tune, and he's able to break them apart and shatter the objects the higher his pitch becomes. it's quite a spectacular and flashy power, though it is not too useful for combat, but it's a fairly useful one to entertain people. he can make 2D sculptures of things and manipulate them so they move. however, it takes immense concentration and silence as he needs to find the proper notes and song to whistle — eva's a person that gets distracted fairly easily ( which isn't exactly ideal for a person that holds such a power ) and he only really practises this skill of his to entertain himself with little stained glass animals and butterflies flitting around him because he thinks they look pretty so he might need a bit of guidance in order to use this power creatively.

pet  ──   he has an adorable pet cloud named puffy, as stated before, and puffy is very overprotective of its owner. wherever eva goes, puffy comes with, and whenever eva is feeling unhappy or disgruntled, puffy will become equally as distressed - it'll become gray and attempt to cheer eva up like a little puppy in the form of a puffy cloud. in a modern setting, puffy is a cute little white labradoodle that his parents gifted him at the age of 5!

alias  ──  eva, as a person who is very emotional and very much morally good, would have the hero alias of "weatherman" or "weather boy", a reference towards his nephelokinesis in a superhero universe.

superhero get-up  ──  in a navy patterned overcoat, paired with a white undershirt ( covered with a black garment ) and a nice matching tie, eva resembles the image of a british gentleman in his suit. completed with loose dark navy wide-leg pants and some neat black business dress shoes, this look wouldn't be so iconic if not for the classic umbrella that eva carries around everywhere as a precaution for if his powers go haywire.
