it's a few days after the party and jaehyun hasn't shown up since then. he's been hiding from taeyong and he knows it. taeyong even left him a bunch of messages and voice mails but jaehyun didn't bother to open any of them. he was upset. he thought that all the sex could bring them back together but now he knew it could never happen because taeyong's pregnant.

he downed another drink of his gin from his table. he hasn't been coming to work too and johnny's getting pissed but he tried to let it slide.

"you're drinking again?" the siblings came in and found their youngest downing a bottle of gin in his balcony. jaehyun didn't mind them and kept drinking instead.

"bro, what is happening to you?" yunho asked sitting down beside him.

"i'm surprised he hasn't had alcohol poisoning yet." krystal nagged.

"seriously, what happened? you've been drinking for days and johnny's been calling us and asking if you still even plan on working for him." jessica said taking a drink from jaehyun's glass and sat on a sofa.

"taeyong's pregnant."

it shut everyone up at the moment. they looked at each other before yunho spoke up. "taeyong, as in your ex?" and the younger man nodded.

"i thought you moved on, you told us you cheated. why are you acting like that baby should've been yours?" yunho replied.

"doesn't look like you're over him." jessica said. "yeah, you're subdued." krystal rolled her eyes as she stated.

"maybe i'm not." jaehyun murmured enough for the three to hear. they smirked as they looked at each other. i knew you never did. jessica thought.

"no, jaehyun's still not here. he wouldn't answer my calls, and i don't know when he plans to come back to work!"

johnny was really pissed. there were a lot of bookings for his best friend but the guy's hammered everytime johnny came to visit. he couldn't accept schedules for jaehyun even if it's important ones. clearly, his boyfriend and the best friend wasn't visiting in the right timing right now. they just caught johnny with a pile of papers on his desk and scrubby hair.

"calm down baby, he'll come back soon. he can't just abandon you like that." ten said rubbing johnny's back.

"if he didn't have a trust fund and a company to inherit, yeah he won't. but he has, and he completely abandoned me here! i just need him right now, there are a lot of photoshoots for him to attend to and i'm gonna lose money if he doesn't show up in two weeks." johnny said.

"he wouldn't be like this if he knew taeyong's baby was his." ten chuckled which earned a glare from taeyong himself.

"yeah, why don't you tell him now, tae? i bet he's drinking his troubles away." johnny said as he sat back down his chair.

"i told you he's not answering my messages nor my calls. i've been trying to find him since mark's birthday." taeyong sighed before plopping down the couch.

"why don't you come by his house? i'm sure jessica noona will let you in."

"oh no, i doubt you'll find him there. whenever yuta, lucas and i try visiting him there, he's not there. but when we try finding him in the bars, he's home." johnny said, while stacking up papers.

if he just listened to me before concluding things in his mind, none of this would've happened. taeyong thought.

"why don't we set him up with tae again?" johnny and taeyong turned to look at ten. "but since he won't talk to us, we use jessica noona to try and trick him into talking to you."

"that could work, i have her number." taeyong tilted his head to the side as he said that. i wouldn't even bother informing him that this baby's his, if it weren't for johnny throwing a fit. taeyong rolled his eyes as he thought. he didn't wanna let jaehyun know that they're having a baby, but if he's like this then there's no other choice for taeyong. he wasn't supposed to find out that quickly, anyway. but jaehyun was quick-witted. he figured everything out under one drink. i mean, who does that?

taeyong wasn't ready to face jaehyun again. he thought he'll just give him the cold shoulder or maybe even yell and taeyong hates being yelled at.

"ahh, there's that face again, yong. you gotta let him know, it's his baby too." johnny said.

"but i'm scared. what if he yells at me?"

"dude, it's his fault too. he should be aware that his dick was covered in a condom before slipping it inside you." ten rolled his eyes.

johnny chuckled at ten before saying, "and would he act like this if he doesn't want the baby to be his?"

"but you'll help me right? can you be there when i tell him?" ten and johnny looked at each other.

taeyong, along with the two lovebirds, waited patiently for his ex-lover to arrive. he was nervous to death. his heart was pumping like crazy. he felt like peeing on the spot, but he couldn't do that in a fancy restaurant.

they had a reservation under jessica's name hoping jaehyun would fall for it. jaehyun entered the restaurant thinking it was a sibling-dinner. he got directed into the hall towards their table but neither of his three siblings were there, instead it was his friends and his ex.

"oh my god, he's here, he's coming. i can't do this, i can't do this--"

"chill down, man. he's not gonna eat you." ten stated with furrowed eyebrows. i didn't wanna get dragged into this, i really didn't. he thought.

"what are you doing here? where are my sisters?" jaehyun said as he got to their table. oblivious.

"we told jessica noona to make you come here." ten said lowly, not wanting to get yelled at.

it was visible to jaehyun's face that he was pissed. he didn't hide how he rolled his eyes before turning to leave. "i'm outta here." but before he can take another step, a hand held his, stopping him from leaving. it was taeyong's. "please? i've got something to say." taeyong fidgeted with the end of his long sleeves while looking down.

they ordered their food and got to talking. jaehyun didn't really have much choice. he sat quiet beside taeyong and johnny, not once daring to speak.

"so..." johnny started. "when do you plan on coming back to work?" he said sarcastically earning a glare from his boyfriend and best friend.

"sorry, john. i wasn't in the mood."

"you would be if you didn't have your money." he muttered so low that ten heard. "alright, that's a timeout." ten grabbed johnny's arm pulling him out of the place. as they went out, johnny's protests were heard. "but baby, i wanna eat."

finally, the two were alone. it felt awkward. there was an uncomfortable silence sitting around them. until jaheyun spoke, "was this your plan?" turning to taeyong.

"you called my sister making her trick me into coming here just to see you?" taeyong couldn't read jaehyun's expression. he was mocking but he pissed and he had a pokerface. it scared taeyong.

"i actually just wanted to talk to you about the baby." the younger rolled his eyes as he heard taeyong. but he waited for taeyong to speak up and explain.

taeyong cleared his throat before speaking, "you shouldn't really be concluding something without confirming." he gathered up his confidence as he spoke to the other. "why did you run away from me like that?" he asked.

it shut jaehyun up for a moment before gulping, "i don't know, taeyong." he brushed his face with his palms. "i actually don't know. maybe i didn't wanna see you that time, maybe i can't face you without thinking the guy i was fucking was having a baby."

"yeah, because the guy you were fucking is having your baby."

jaehyun immediately turned his gaze to the older. he couldn't speak because he didn't see this coming. he tried to form a few words but nothing came out.

"yes, jaehyun. this baby's yours." taeyong repeated.
